Right but the game plan isn't that in Tampa even though they could run it

.

My point is, they have the personel and the talent in Tampa to run what Brady did in NE. In my opinion, they need to do that if they want to be successful. Arians need to realize they will not win anything throwing bombs all over the field.

They were times this year where they kind of did implement concept from New England and you could instantly see that Brady was more comfortable.

Sounds like Brady could use a GOAT head coach

.

I don’t think he needs necessarily a GOAT head coach, just a decent one.

Ok. Not sure if you're just a blind Brady-only fan. The only being made is for those who keep trying to diss Belichick , clearly Brady misses having an elite coach as well.

And careful on calling Arians not a decent coach. He's coached 5 prior QBs that people all consider great QBs so it won't look good for Brady if he can't shine with this guy

This is a good point. Arians is a good coach and he definitely has some "street cred" but personally I can't stand his play calling especially with a banged up O'line.

With that aside I think TB and BA are still adjusting to each other and we haven't seen the final product yet. We'll see how it goes.

Agree. Arians is a vertical guy so not a great scheme fit with Brady who is a middle of the field , short/medium passer. But if it doesn't work it will tarnish Brady here. And I know he went to Tampa to prove a couple things

Brady has already proven it imo. Tampa Bay is second in scoring at the moment and they're still putting things together. I'm curious to see how it ends up.

Yeah he's the GOAT QB so of course still playing well. But he's up and down. I bet he wanted to crush the entire year and make a couple huge points about himself as a player. So the off games kind of dampen any exclamation point possibility that he might have wanted to make this year.

I just overreacted a little bit. Overall is a good coach but he never had a QB of the aura of Tom and in my opinion it is not his best year coaching wise.

He never had as much spotlight that he has this year. I don’t know if that’s impacting his coaching. He is trying to force something that isn’t working.

Everybody in the world knew that Throwing deep isn’t Tom’s strength. The media asked the question before the season if Brady was a good fit for Arians.

You have a QB that can’t throw deep constantly and you still ask him to throw deep often. That is not good coaching that is stupidity in my opinion.

The problem is, they need to implement the NE offense if they want to succeed. But Arians ego will forbid that.

TB has already surpassed any 43 year old QB expectations. I'm curious to see how far he can get with Tampa Bay and all its talent. Can they win a SB?

Off games are a part of the learning curve.

His off game where only against good teams. That make me ask myself if that's only Tom fault or if the way they attacked these good defenses are wrong. the 2 picks against the Rams were bad but in my opinion, they were the product of him forcing things that aren't there because he is frustrated. I just think trying to throw bombs behind Ramsey wasn't the best way to attack them.

The chiefs are their last chance to prove to themselves before the playoff that they can win against a good team. A win would be huge for their confidence. But they need to change something. Closing their eyes and throwing the same thing against the wall time and time again hoping for a different result will not work

You can't be serious about that. Receiving corps in the first 10 games last year was quite a lot better than this year, especially with Edelman first dinged up and then on IR. Not to mention that one of the games this year was QB'd by Hoyer and Stidham after Cam's COVID diagnosis including almost 2 weeks of no practice.
The Pats had just as little TE play as they do now (hard to believe I know), no Harry, Byrd or Myers at WR (Jules was the only option and he was hobbled), an OL racked with injuries (including the C and LT), no Damien Harris at RB and they lost their FB and his replacement (they had a LB playing there). I'll agree that they're much worse at QB this year than last though.

No team needs a GOAT HC to win. What they need are players. Below is the list of Conference Champion HC's that met in the SB for the last 15 years. The winners are on the left;

Andy Reid - Kyle Shanahan
GOAT - Sean McVay
Doug Pederson - GOAT
GOAT - Dan Quinn
Gary Kubiak - Ron Rivera (a real clash of the titans there)
GOAT - Pete Carroll
Pete Carroll - John Fox
John Harbawl - Jim Harbawl (the Bawl Bowl)
Tom Coughlin - GOAT
Mike McCarthy - Mike Triplin
Sean Payton - Jim Caldwell
Mike Triplin - Ken Whisenhunt
Tom Coughlin - GOAT
Tony Dungy - Lovie Smith (another dynamic duo)
Bill Cowher - Mike Holmgren

Just about every HC on that list has been berated here. What those HCs all had were good to great players.

Other than beating green bay who I think is a pretender as well this team hasn't shown me anything that says they will go far.

With this talent if they go 11-5 and get bounced in the playoffs you have to say it's a disappointment

Anything short to a NFCG is a disappointment.

Their offense isn’t playing good enough. The positive is they scored 24 against a top 3 defense in the NFL playing really bad. They now have 5 games and a bye left to find something that works.

I would agree if this wasn't a Covid season with no off-season and zoom mtgs. Talent does not just equal success. You have to work together and develop chemistry. Plus Arians is just learning Brady this year and tweaking the team to his comfort. I think next year is the year they make the push deep into the playoffs.

Depends on if they get Marpet back or not. He bolsters that OL and makes it so teams can’t get home with 3-4 rushers, which has been the case since he’s been out. Even in his prime, that’s always been Brady’s weakness. See the game that shall not be mentioned.

Seeing that TB and BB struggling to reach their potential without each other, I think those who have underappreciated one or the other, appreciates them more.
