Anyone who thinks otherwise is objectively wrong and needs to take a deep breath and step back.

Can you imagine how monumentally stupid Kraft would be to fire a coach who has won a Super Bowl in 30% of the seasons he's coached in New England?
I can definitely see a guy like Kraft doing exactly that.

This is the same guy that smooches Goodell’s backside every chance he gets. “Good of the 32” anyone?

I’ll always wonder what could’ve been had he not gotten stuck with grigson. Criminal that Indy neglected the OL until it was too late.

he deserved better, thats for sure. But i dont think in any system he would’ve ever been what he was hyped to be.

That hindsight is 20/20 is incredibly strong with this one. He was by far the best QB, a franchise QB which he was coming out of the draft and he proved that. Indy was 2-14 and they went 11-5 with Luck as a rookie. Please.
Hindsight? We are taking about whether it worked. Hindsight is the only way to answer that. They went to the playoffs 10 straight years before they ranked to 2-14.
They would have been better if they completed and kept manning.

People are spoiled to a t. I wouldn’t mind a 4-12 season as long as we get some talent. This takes awhile.

No way. Not a snowball's chance in hell.

People may not like Kraft's politicking but he's not a stupid person.

They didn’t give themselves any chances to win either. Curtis Painter started games for them FFS. We’re trash too this year. Unless you believe that this team is going to reel off 8-9 straight, winning games this season serves no purpose whatsoever. There’s literally no positives to it.
The Colts canned their team president, GM, coach, all his staff and a good chunk of the roster after that debacle. So how did they benefit from a tank? They just sucked for many reasons including their coach who was a .300 coach in college.

Who are the good building blocks at QB, TE, and WR?
Thus the need for a rebuild.

I'll go one further....

Is the 68 year old GoAT coach a building block?

BB is on record as saying he is an "oversee-er" now.

I think after Deflategate we learned how weak Kraft really is. If the team finishes 2-14 there will be questions about Bill and tbh rightfully so. The Brady thing will loom very large. I can totally see Kraft doing that.

Having building blocks doesn’t mean you are set at every position. They gave drafted Harry, Keene, asiasi at thise positions in the last 2 years. Are you arguing you should give up on all your draft picks and tank so you can pick more?
This team would be competitive for a playoff spot with an average QB.

The Colts did not have BB. Had they decided to put an OL in front of Luck, that team could have easily contended. Sucking for Luck didn’t destroy the team culture and it wasn’t the reason that team didn’t win a title. What I just mentioned coupled with the fact that the Patriots were completely rebuilt by that time was.

Where is he in record saying that?

This. This is a full rebuild needing serious talent everywhere. I doubt Belichick is here when this rebuild is complete. I think he is here in 21 but unsure beyond that

I know but I’m talking about the team that “tanked”. There is no benefit to it for the participants.

Kept Manning? Again, yes you are using hindsight because you’re assuming Luck wouldn’t have retired at 30. He was having his best seasons before retiring.

How so? What, specifically, are the negatives?

How did it not destroy a team culture when the entire culture was eliminated?

they lack top end talent entirely. A full rebuild is coming.

Entirely? No. They have a lot of talent. They are two or three players away from being back on top. NT, TE, WR.
