yes, lawrence, fields, and lance are all really good prospects. a top 7 pick could net us Lance..
If we lose every game except the Jets we might get Lance. I don't see any way how we get Fields

Playoffs? Playoffs? I just hope we win another game.

We'll probably beat Jets so at least we can celebrate a win over the Jete
Sadly, that isn't even a certainty. The homer in me will keep the hope until we are mathematically eliminated though.

I’d rather have a shot at a top 10 qb over settling with bargain basement nfl retreads and losers. Still up in the air on Fields, but I’d like a shot at Lawerence, Trask, Jones. I don’t know much about Lance.
I’d rather have Zach Wilson than either Trask or Jones, but I agree with the overall point.

Is this a deep QB draft? I know nothing other than TL being an unanimous #1.

Justin Fields OSU likely #2 overall pick

Trey Lance North Dakota State. Had 42 total TDs & 0 INTs as a sophomore. Season was canceled. Would contend for #1 overall in another draft:

Zach Wilson BYU. Having a breakout season. Cannon for an arm, mobile & 75% comp pct. on the season.

I'd like to get in but at 2-5..... idk.

If we won this game and then beat the Jete, at 4-4 it was plausible. How many 2-5 teams have gotten in?

At this point why would you not trade every assert before the deadline? Does Bill the GM think his charges are going to magically morph into a good team and rattle of 7 wins in the last 9? Because that's what it'll take to sniff the playoffs. Bill the GM and Bill the Coach have completely fubared this season

We'll find out next week...both the Pats and Jete might be competing to see who's going to lose

My guy Zach

Gutsy game with an unfortunate but kinda predictable ending. We just keep screwing ourselves too much for the margin of error we have.

Heartbreaking for Cam who had a bounce back performance in the second half and seemed to have found his confidence again.

I thought the gameplan was pretty good to start out ultra conservative and work yourself through proper fundamentals back into a more open playbook. And despite a gashed run D that keeps missing tackles and is too easily moved they looked very competitive the longer the game went on.

Some upvotes for Meyers, Harris and Uche. Not sure what to do with Cam who had a good overall performance and then might have fumbled the season away. His heart is in the right place and he demonstrates the leadership that's necessary but the unforced errors just keep stacking up.

Either way at least 5 out of the 7 games so far have been very entertaining and competitive. That's what I am looking for in sports.

Looks like there are QB options. This team cannot go 7-9 or 8-8. That is the worst possible outcome. It’s selling time.

That throw by Wilson. WHAT A DIME ON THE RUN.

Cam has made mistakes and has made some bad throws. He's trying. I honestly feel bad for him. He wants to succeed. Sucks it might not end the way he hopes.

Big game next week. Lawrence sweepstakes on the line for both teams.

At least Harris and Myers played well and may be contributors for a few years.
