I wonder if they’ll watch carefully what other teams are doing around the league with fans- hopefully that can start to happen in October here.

I think it's such BS that some teams will have fans and some not. Home field advantage has always been a big deal in the NFL. But for one screwed up year they should have just leveled the playing field for everyone.

Is anybody clear on the new gameday inactive rules? I know you can have 48 active players, so only 5 inactives. There are also some rules about elevating players from the practice squad that I am less clear on.

While I agree that every human must take some responsibility for behaviour/outcome/choices, I can’t get behind this post. I think it’s best we discuss the game in this thread and those who choose to not watch the game - for whatever reason - should also choose to keep these types of beliefs out of the thread.

I also disagree with posters building Up « the importance of this game ». If anything, with the lack of pressure of winning it all, this is a « let’s see what happens this year ».

Exactly! Why come into a game day thread to say you won't be watching. Nobody cares about your political views in a thread like this, whether it stays the official game day thread or not.

I think the decision not to have fans was not made by the Pat's but imposed by the state of MA.
