What’s up with pulling guns if you have no intention of using them? Use your fists like men, pus$ies.

Googling these idiots At UF, apparently they weren’t real guns.

He was pulled over with an AR not too long ago.

Supposedly that clip is from when a teammate of his got knocked out or into a fight.

BGC : Thanks for the recent updates. I had a quick search this morning and there still seems to be some different opinions out there if there will be a season or not. Do you think there will be some concrete news soon from the top or will this get fragmented into chaos between some teams in divisions declaring they will play and others opting out ??

It's going to be chaos from beginning to end tbh. A lot of teams-schools aren't equipped to do all the testing necessary/can't pay for it. Some can. Some can't make the schedule work. It's already madness tbh.

No has concrete answers from the White House to the SEC. No one knows the long term effects. A lot of these kids have health issues to begin with. A lot of their families-friends have health issues.

Now you're asking kids to risk injury, maybe career ending injury on top of C19.

I hate saying it but there shouldn't be a season. I hate saying it! There's a small, dumb part of me that feels like you're giving up but it's not safe. Essentially you're asking kids to play by the honor system. Be as close to perfect as possible. Deal with crazy health concerns, injuries for a season that might happen.

I mean where's the line for the NCAA? In terms of kids getting sick? What happens if 5-6 kids test positive? 15-20?

Are they prepared to make these kids play for free while kids are in the hospital?

I mean I'd be scared sh!t of potential lawsuits. Like wtf would the NCAA say in the case of a death??

I will watch w/e games I can and feel grateful but a little guilty bc the sport is just upside down rn. Scandals all over.
This "phone call" is a mess. I mean that's potential evidence in a court case. Iowa is under investigation for racial discrimination. I know that's a huge issue in the coaching world in general but college a lot of young coaches I've talked to have said they've felt steered in certain directions regarding moves to make and too often it's a dead end or a stop sign. They just don't feel like they can advance even though they have experience playing, coaching, recruiting - a lot of these guys are still plugged into the communities where they came from - Florida, Texas, Virginia etc and are in touch with kids through friends, family, camps, word of mouth. Very useful when dealing with kids, kids parents.

Then you have this ...

The **** that goes on is crazy.

So yea I'll watch w/e I can and just be happy with that and roll with it as it goes.

One thing I'm super interested in is the "unknown" prospects stepping up. Its happens every year regardless.

I'm wondering if we get 7-8 guys in the 2nd-3rd tier range on people's boards that get the extra snaps and really put together a big season.

Trying to look at the positive here. There are very few in reality but I absolutely know we'll get monster season from a few prospects that might not have been top 50-100 and play themselves into the 1st round convo.

I think Moore is extremely intriguing. Probably not WR1 Type out the gate or first 2 years but the absolute perfect gadget player. WR-Slot/HB-weapon isn't playing. I'll get into him in the WR thread but what beast. It's crazy how many weapons are coming out and could really tip the scales.

Like I wouldn't want to deal with on Denver, KC, Balty or SF. He really could be a disaster for the league when you think about what he'd add to those teams. No joke it's frightening if you look at their depth charts.

I brought it up before but you need 4-5 DBs that can cover & tackle nowadays. It's a must. The amount of talent on the field is just awesome. Seriously go look at some of the depth charts. Prospects like Moore, Bateman, Waddle, Smith Chase ... Could be silly on some of the team's above.

It shouldn't be hard to build an exciting, versatile, explosive group of weapons when you look at the last 3-5 years. The past draft and the next two.

Looks like there are a few things going on outwith Covid 19. I have deliberately stayed clear of commenting about Covid 19 on this forum as there are plenty of very strong feelings about how serious a disease this is which ever side you are on. I hope we see some football either this year or next but are the risks worth it.

Sports over here seems to be getting their act together but most are managed in bubbles and seem to be working so far. (Recent incident of soccer players , 2 of which had tested positive for covid , going out drinking in crowded bars when they should have been setting an example and following the rules). Public and supporters are very angry !!

Thanks again for the work you do I always look forward to it....stay safe.

I heard decisions will be made early next week.

SEC & ACC are really the only possible hold outs. Few really willing to go ahead. College football isn't happening this fall with any type of normalcy. We might get something but I have to ask risk/reward at this point. I don't believe well see it until next fall. I doubt want to give my opinion rather than pass on bs I trust from a Bama alum. Who's crazy but plugged in and smart. I just don't think things will be normal enough in Feb/March.

Big shots will be meeting Mon-Tues day/night. Some minds are made up ... firm, on both sides. But not enough willing to risk it.

If I had to bet by Wednesday things will look very different in many worlds.

The $ involved, $ at stake, players heads/feelings??

Yea we got a little taste last week but today is the day man. I'm pumped & more than ready to get going. I didn't know what to expect but so happy with what we're getting after the year we've had & will continue to have.

Yea Marshall is legit. Great history there and produced the GOAT Randy Moss. Him & Chad Pennington were a thing of beauty.

UTEP, Memphis/Ark St, BYU ... Very happy.

Thanks for the info.....next up over here is

SMU v Texas State
Arkansaw State v Memphis

Its 9 in the evening here so better get the recorder set up....enjoy your games

@BaconGrundleCandy : I have been looking at your DLine prospects given the discussion on some of the other threads re us being a bit light on that side of the ball. Any thoughts on who you think could be a good fit for us. I did think last year that we were going to need another DLine player but it was not addressed in the draft.....maybe this year ?

Sorry , I see that you did update the thread with some names.......duh !

I'll put out a PTP list soon, end of the week/early next week. Some teams just started so I want to get a feel for some that are just getting going. Its a crazy season. I'm at about 30-35 names and want to hit at least 50.
