Buc's phone was ringing off the hook man...it's common knowledge.

..."likely a plant"...LOL...where's your "evidence" man?
This is unsubstantiated and almost certainly wrong.

I doubt it was ringing off the hook for the chance to play with Brady any more than it was when he was in NE.

Sounds like Tre'Davious is opting out:

Bills weren't going to win the division as soon as Cam arrived in NE. They certainly aren't going to win it if they lose Tre'Davious White.

Doesn't opt out after all that drama. Good for the Bills and for him in terms of getting out of that rookie deal sooner than if that year had tolled.

So hasn’t the deadline passed now? And even if so, will more be announced as the day goes on or is this the end of the opt-outs?

Deadline has passed and because opting in ot out is relatively straight forward I'd wager that we have a complete list now, unlike trade deadlines where some announcements trickle in. Also, based on individual circumstances players can still opt out going forward.

Unidentified sources leaked that info to Schefty.....then nobody signed with the Bucs. That's all the evidence that is needed. If it were still late March, April or even May, I could understand why you would continue to fight this fight but it's August. His sources were full of sh*t.

My instincts were spot on, yet again. ;)Lots of sound and twitter fury, signifying nothing.

So unless there is a family emergency down the line this is pretty much our initial opt-out list.

You too are entitled to your opinion.

In general I'm skeptical about the media but Schefter has been working the NFL for 30 years and has been employed by ESPN (again, not a fan) for 10+ and if media reports are accurate makes over $1 million per year...

...surely he must occasionally get good information.

As for "unidentified sources"...their status as on-going sources 100% hinges on Schefter not identifying them...suggesting the info is no good just because the source is "unidentified" is not logical in any way.

Again, you're entitled to your opinion, but what rationale do you suggest would motivate Schefter to just make that up and put it into the space?

It’s not really an opinion. That’s like saying 2+2=4 is an opinion. And your proof is someone heard a rumor that 2+2 was going to now equal 17.
Zero non-cast off players signed. schefter being wring has been proven and isn’t debatable.

"Zero non-cast off players signed" and being contacted by "an unexpected high number of players" in reference to playing with TB12 are not mutually exclusive conditions.

So you think ESPN pays Schefter $1.2 million per-annum to be wrong 100% of the time?

Why would he put that info into the space if he didn't think it was accurate? Who gains anything by him doing so?
