If he ever had an idea to tank, which I could never see, that went out the window with signing Cam Rolling with Stidham would have been a sign that he was prepared to, maybe. But tanking is about not using all available resources in preparation for the season. Once the games start, every player is going 100%.

And as a lifelong Steelers fan, you better believe that every other team is “fearful” that BB is Ahead of the curve on something.

I meant it as a compliment. I don’t blame losses on the opposing team. Don’t care about any “gates”. So if you’re looking for that fight, you got the wrong guy There’s no rule that says you have to hate every other team. I respect everything BB, and the entire organization, has done Over 20 years.

My bad, I thought you had posted in your original post that there was some leg reference which prompted the tripping comment.

It’s cool. It will be the last time I mention it. This is y’all’s house. Unless someone asks a specific question about them, I won’t bring them up again. Admittedly, this is much tougher than playing Carolina once every four years. But I wanted Cam in NE since y’all decided to cut loose Brady. If they play each other it will be a playoff game so that’s good for everyone. It would also be an easier decision if we both didn’t have 6 rings...lol

BB tanking? No way, His ego and ambition is a natural contraception against every way of tanking. Not buying it.

I think the trip was legendary. Come on man, if BB would of done that we'd be calling him a BOSS.

This whole theory makes no sense. There's going to be a massive reduction in cap space next year.

The last thing Belichick wants is to push forward huge contracts into years with no cap space.

This is NOT a criticism of Hightower and Chung since I totally understand their decision. I should hope though that their agents explained to them that the Patriots (and other teams) will be up against it next year. There is going to be a reduction in contracts. You can guarantee it.

Again, this isn't a criticism of players like Hightower. They do KNOW they are leaving money on the table that they will not be able to get next year.

I heard they asked Rottencrapburger if he was gonna opt out....his reply..."what does opt mean?"...

And I respect how the Steelers keep their identity, logo and uniforms.

Their fans get to see their team play every week, win or lose, with occasional throwbacks.

Patriots fans had the flying elvis shoved down our throats in 1993 along with ugly, insulting enemy blue jerseys and enemy silver stripeless helmets and have been forced to see our team look like idiots ever since.

"Never in the course of human events has one man occupied so much space in the heads of so many, rent-free."

In fact, one could argue that they are paying BB to live in their heads because every time they give him free media coverage they increase the value of his Brand and drive up what he will be able to charge for his Memoir.
