I mean really ... is anyone like I can't wait for the games to begin.

Me neither...Sox weren't going anywhere this season anyway, so screw them & their stupid, unwatchable, "new normal" rules & regs...

I don't know the date of the season opener. More interested in the effects of the virus on the sport. I have no fan appreciation for baseball to begin.

If they didn't trade their best player for a bag of rocks I would be more interested for sure...

Yep, this new kid GM isn't off to an auspicious start, between the Betts trade and his "outside the box" draft (where have we heard that before?)...

Because he was implicated in a cheating scandal. He wasn’t fired he was suspended.

Regarding the Betts trade, word might've come from ownership that he wasn't being re-signed, but it was the GM who made a deal that netted them only 60 cents on the dollar...

These kids he acquired have to become major-league players for us in order for the trade to work, but one of them already has injury issues...

They fired him for PR. He's a known cheater.

MLB owners and MLBPA suck. I kinda miss baseball on the radio, sitting outside on the deck with a beverage, but no, I don't miss watching it on TV. They could have been back June 1 and captured the entire sports landscape. Instead, they argued, *****ed, pointed fingers and whined. All set.

A) we have no idea if thats true. That will take years to figure out. Verdugo and Downs are very highly rated prospects.
B) said “best player” is a grade A+ ******* who whined “I want to go to FA as is my right” when asked about signing an extension in Boston. “I want to focus on the 2020 season.” Then, has a month of spring games and signs an extension immediately with the Dodgers.

And said “best” player just struck out, on an offspeed pitch away, which is his glaring weakness that only real baseball people understand. As did the Red Sox.

I wish all sports were back, but this attempt is not going to be good. i dont care what the records are for our teams this year. stay healthy and hopefully come back next year

and it was very telling that he resigned with LA recently. I think the Sox had conversations and knew Betts was not coming back to Boston, thus the trade. Knowing all that in advance (and they knew...its how it works)they got a pretty good return.

i hope all our teams tank this year. this is a worthless attempt at a season (all sports). Might as well tank when very few people care anyway...get that high draft pick if nothing else.

Good thing, bet early on this year's irrelevance while the con men are still selling their confidence game, maybe win the draft or something.

I love watching my football (sometimes even baseball or hockey,) but we'd better all get used to Aussie rules football and tiny ballparks in Japan where midgets can hit 800 home runs.
