I'm sure the league would love to hand Mahomes at least 5-titles. Get ready for another season of game fixing. It might be easier this year. No need to erase 2 touchdowns with spotty officiating. Just have certain players ruled out due to positive tests prior to the game.

Mahomes if he has 15-20 year career will have some great chances to rack up some rings. Chris Jones as good as he is might get a chance to win one or 2 more with Mahomes but no way as a DL he lasts long enough for everything Mahomes winds up pulling off.

Mahomes is rediculous and I think it's easy to assume he'll get another one or 2 and if he gets those quickly maybe he can make a run at TB (Terry Bradshaw).

Mahomes isn’t getting passed 3 rings no matter what espn says

I think Mahomes can win 3 or so titles, but let's be clear. Mahomes, despite winning SB MVP last year, did not play well in that game. People (not accusing you but in general) have to stop slobbering over him. He had a great 2018 and a so-so 2019 regular season. He was 9th in yards thrown and 11th in TDs, and he missed just a couple of games

Mahomes pulled a Peyton Manning he won that championship cause Red Grossmen, I mean Garrapolo couldn’t hit receivers running all by themselves downfield. SF wins that game by 10 with a competent QB

If he goes back to his 2018 form where he's throwing 40-50 touchdowns every year for the next 15 years then he's on his way to being among the top 5 ever.

If he can throw 40-50 every year for the next 15 years then odds are good he will retire as the GOAT. That would be absolutely ridiculous production and it wouldn't even be close.

Even if he only has one SB?

Even if he only has one SB?

If he throws 40-50 TDs each season for the next 10+ years then odds are he will make it to a couple SBs. If he loses all of them then this failure will speak for itself.

Again, think about how absolutely ludicrous 40-50 TDs each year would be. Unless I am misreading PFR nobody has done this consistently. Even the biggest stats whores like Brees only had two successive seasons with 40+. Brady went over 40 only once.

Obviously that's not going to happen - he'd have 900 TDs by the time he retires lol. I see him as a 500 career TD guy, which is basically Brett Favre.

Good for Chris Jones riding the high wave. Super bowl champ, life changing contract, but every wave eventually crashes.

What New England was able to do over the last 20 years is unheard of, and certainly not the norm. I’m not sure another team will ever be able to replicate 9 Super Bowls appearances and 6 wins in 20 years ever again. Mahomes is a generational talent, so I do think they will win a couple more when it’s all said and done.

Nobody’s talking about injuries. This is what will hinder KC, if anything. Hill, Kelce & their OL have been fortunate regarding injuries. This isn’t likely to be sustainable (assuming they don’t leave in FA of course..)

with Farve being the better player with those stats considering the rule changes

I was just responding to your words. Unless he gets injured a couple of times he will be a much more complete QB than Favre. After starting for 2 seasons he is already smarter with his risks than Favre ever was.

All that being said I find your approach to talk about cumulative/average stats instead of SB titles more sensible because as we all painfully know the latter are inherently more random and require things breaking right.

Mahomes is as good a player as I've ever seen (in terms of what he can actually do). Whether he can keep it up or stay clear of injuries is another question. But as important as QB is, football is the ultimate team game. It's really really really hard to win it all, especially in a world now with just one bye. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Mahomes retire with three rings. Expecting anything more than that is just pure wish casting. I mean Troy Aikman and the Dallas dynasty "only" got three. Elway only got two. Peyton Manning only got two. Rodgers only has one. You get the idea.

Their offense became pretty pedestrian when Hill was out with injury.. that is probably why they drafted Mecole Hardman, he's really fast but not as good a player as Hill

Well I would say it is likely that they don't win 5 rings but in the end of the day who cares? What these guys say doesn't really matter.

This is a message board. Nothing matters really, but it is still funny.
