if I thought he had his head on straight again I'd take him back in a heartbeat. dude is an incredible talent and picking him up after he's done such damage to his own reputation is a typically Belichickian move.

Maybe AB called Bob Kraft and they mended fences. 50% of ABs 9 million applies this 2020 season with NE strapped for cash. Need Kraft to be the bigger man and suck it up.

Kraft hooked AB up with his top shelf team of Lawyers and ABs legal problems are all but a bad dream.

Why not? Considering the risk of Covid decimating every team's talent for 2 weeks at a time, best to stock up on what you can when you can. The same mentality as the TP bandits back in March/April. lol

Reiss usually is pretty good about hedging with phrases like "they are exploring all possibilities" or "they are always looking to improve the team". His tone here is pretty definite though. Sounds like some off the record info shining through.
