Legendary Italian film composer Ennio Morricone, whose most famous works included the scores for Italian “spaghetti Westerns” such as “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” died Monday at 91.

Morricone, who composed music for more than 500 movies, died in Rome from complications from a fall the previous week, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

This week already sucks

I seen Charlie Daniels at the Cape Cod Coliseum in the early 80’s.

That place was a sweat box “No AC” & summer concerts. They opened the gates at noon for a 8pm show.

The parking lot party was awesome prior to the concerts.

I had just arrived at MCAS Beaufort SC when The Devil Came Down To Georgia started moving up the national charts...Needless to say, that song received a lot of airplay on the 2 Savannah rock stations...Good times, good times...

James Woods gives out a little tidbit about Morricone:

#EnnioMorricone was a film composer for the ages. Sergio Leone had him orchestrate the final scene of Once Upon a Time in America before filming. As shooting commenced, suddenly the music soared live on the sound stage. Greatest movie experience of my life. #RIPEnnioMorricone

I opened a thread on pub forum concerning the Maestro

Ennio Morricone thank you ... you were a simply person but a GREAT one

I was lucky to be (infortunately only once) at his concert and it was amazing...one of the best evenings

Baaria
Bugsy
The good the bad and the ugly
Once upon a time in the West
Abolisson
Mission

Etc...

It will be impossible to forget him...impossible...

Grazie again Ennio
You represented Italy at very best for a long long time

Riposa in pace Maestro...grazie di tutto...

If you had a pulse in the 70s you loved that song.
