Childish and brooding. The true character comes out in adversity.

Like his disgraceful press conference after the Broncos beat his team in the Super Bowl.

I disagree this wasn't disrespectful this was a devastated young man who just lost the biggest game of his career.
Was very disappointed in his play and the outcome.
It be more damning if he was laughing and smiling after that game.
Belichick has had a few games where he storms off and doesn't say much to the media as has Brady.
This is looking for fire when there is no smoke in my opinion.

Also, nobody is saying/will say this; but Cam’s football IQ is nothing to sneeze at. No Brady (obviously), but still relatively underrated.

Brady > Cam

However

The dropoff from Brady to Cam is not anywhere near as bad as other potentials we had. And the $$ savings isn't anything to sneeze at.

Lastly, I have a strong suspicion that players who struggled w/ Brady might thrive under Cam.

**** sports media and **** this idea that you have to trot yourself out in front of the world after losing on the biggest stage. Nobody - not a single one of us - would want to do it and it is one of the most meaningless things in the NFL. Like the post-game handshake ********.

Cam is the anti-Brady in so many ways. He is obnoxious when successful—the childish Superman antics—and the video shows him when he’s not, peevish.

Brady had amazing graciousness and dignity even in the agony of defeat.

And it’s about to get soap operatic in Foxboro—and I’m not just talking the owner’s alleged tape in a Florida massage parlor.

I’m talking the messiness of Cam Newton’s personal life.

That looks to be a distraction.

That reminds me of Celtic Vin Baker in the late 1990s who became an alcoholic and had his career flame out. The late sports journalist Will McDonough attributed it to his worries of paying hefty monthly alimony & child support to multiple women.

I hope it works out for Cam in New England and we will give him the benefit of the doubt, but let’s not be blind. If Brady taught us anything, it’s a physically limited individual with a monomaniacal focus beats the physically gifted distracted person. Every time.

If you give me our 2020 offense I will take Cam over Brady.

He not only opens up the passing playbook but also fundamentally changes the way other teams have to play us in the run game.

On the other hand I will take Brady's superior accuracy with the 2020 Bucs skill players over Cam.

You must have found Gronk even more obnoxious with all those childish spikes

That a grinder beats out a gifted person every time is one of those modern ******** fairy tales people tell to make themselves feel better. It is not even close to be true.

It is a massive drop off in every area - accuracy, leadership, health.

I have a minor fear Boston is going to turn on Cam Newton with his flamboyant hair and weird font instagrams, like with flat earther Kyrie Irving
News flash - Boston is not on board now and not because he is flamboyant or a social media goof but because he sucks. To compare to Kyrie who was coming off a championship game winning shot is laughable.

Career yes. From 2019- no. Cam assuming he is healthy is an upgrade. Brady was terrible last year both in performance and attitude and I doubt he’d be any better this season if he stayed here.

“17 points? Haw haw haw. That’s it? Lol ok”

Sounds obnoxious when successful to me.

.

Funny, there have been no reports that his family life has been a distraction to his career so far. If anything, it's his injuries and lack of coaching that has hurt the most. The talent is there, and if he's willing to listen to a multiple-super bowl winning head coach, he'll turn his career around. Let's not act as if Cam is some sort of "project."

I can’t believe I’m even writing this as I was never a big Cam fan and I am still a huge Brady supporter but Brady has had some pretty pouty press conferences. For instance in a win last year against the Eagles he was about as pissy as I’ve ever seen him. Also no one can convince me he didn’t chuck that ball up in the air for an INT against Detroit in 2018 as a form of pouting about the lack of receivers. I want my QB to live and die with every game, I don’t want them to be all sunshine and rainbows after losing. This was the biggest game of Cam’s life and he was frustrated after playing an all time great defense. I believe on top of that the NFL media had just a thin curtain between him and a Bronco on the other side. He heard the answers and celebration going on right behind him and it was pretty much salt in the wound minutes after losing the super bowl. I’m still not a huge fan of the move as I wanted to full rebuild but I’m not going to trash the guy for doing something Brady has always been praised for.

Why continue to compare Cam with Brady ?

Let s hope Cam will be healthy and surely motivated to have success in New England

And i hope for it...Go Cam...you are our present and hopefully the future too...

Looking the past is not helping us now in july 2020...

Not only this, but Brady has also been a high profile socialite his entire career with highly public celebrity relationships, so it's extremely hypocritical for Brady fans to criticize Cam's flash.

People have any other personal reason they claim to hate Cam other than the SB? Who cares if he celebrates? Brady Jules and Gronk did all the time.

If Cam gets to start and is able to elevate the play of our "terrible" receivers, will people take a look at Brady or will he get a pass? To me, this is the area Brady should be more worried about during his last years. He has a lot to lose if Tampa does not light the world on fire with all these weapons and the Patriots do.
All of a sudden the tables have turned on him with Cam coming here. He was safe with Stid and Hoyer taking over.

Oh PLEASE...........I've seen brady pout like his dog just died after WINS before. ************ the selective memory here is hilarious. I have zero issue with a QB actually having fun when playing football, none. Did you have a problem with GRONK? I doubt you did.

After having some time to think it over I'm very excited about cam newton. If healthy, this could be a very fun year with a much higher ceiling than before. I can't wait.
