Tom Brady Says ‘Football's Fun Again' With Buccaneers

Sounds like Brady taking a dig against Belichick.....or maybe he isn't,maybe hes just saying that because Gronk is back at his disposal......no one knows but it seemed to me well before this that Tom has not been a happy camper in New England for at least last season if not a few years before.

I'm sure Belichick is a ton less fun to play for than the Arians.

It's probably also going to be a lot more fun to be golfing in January than watching Cam host a Lombardi.

Will always like the guy and I appreciate everything he did for us. With that said, Brady should focus less on NE and the past and more on Tampa Bay and his future there. Not to say he hasnt, but occasionally it seems like Brady needs to be the center of attention lately. The Julian Edelman Instagram post recently being one of the bigger instances.

However.. whatever. I love Brady still.

This isn't even a direct quote from him, and it's still being taken out of context. It was a reference to Gronk coming out of retirement.

Good for him ......

Not going to be much fun on offense down there in Tampa if your mediocre running backs don't help you out much

Bucs are imo going 11-5. Probably will be fun going to the playoffs but I don't see them getting in the Superbowl. I'm not gonna count Brady out, but he isn't going to be 2007 or even 2014 Brady. He will be good.. However we will see if that will be enough.

The NFC is a different animal....overall a much tougher and more physical conference and the teams in his division are 100x better than they were in the AFC East - expect a ton of pressure on Brady and what he does to alleviate that pressure will be the deciding factor in the long run..its his team now.

It's not a dig against Belichick. He said this when Gronk unretired to join Tampa Bay.

I think the way Brady was lacking that fire on the sidelines during the games last season and even my wife caught that saying he just is solemn just sitting there holding that bottle of water when down on the scoreboard and not up and yelling at his boys to get them motivated for a comeback....he just didn't look happy and his decision not to return IMO was long before the season ended vs Tennessee - it certainly looked like he wasn't having fun....

I bet you $10k US American dollars that Campionship Newton wins a ring before that Sports Scientologist guy we had as our QB does

This isn't SEC vs Ball St.

One conference isn't more physical lol.

Also you could argue the best 2-3 teams in football last year were from AFC.

while both players are active? or in perpetuity ? if while both active i will take that bet

Cool but if Brady wins I won't pay, fyi

This is so unfair, he did not say this to the public, it was a private conversation that his throwing coach decided to share with the world. It is disgusting how talking heads have jumped on this and portraying it as if he called a press conference and said this.
Like what is wrong with us?

Anyone know how Jimmy G is feeling about football these days? :coffee:

Why would that be relevant ? If anything this makes his statement more likely to reflect how he really feels and not some kind of PR game.
