Let's face it, now that he is not on the team, Brady doing this is bad, and Cam Newton doing it, now that he is on the Pats (did I just write that? is this the Twilight Zone?) is good. Argument settled.
On a serious note, two guys working on passing routes and timing, and staying far apart, wearing gloves, doesn't bother me, but a whole offense, or group working close together obviously violates the rules. I'm actually surprised at Brady saying there is nothing to fear but fear itself. That is obviously not true, particularly in FL, where COVID is raging. Shame on him if he had a whole bunch of people there, and I think I would say the same thing if it was happening in Foxboro.
If the numbers don't go down, none. It's a dumb move in both instances. If they are working out in groups maskless now or beginning in 4-6 weeks what is the difference?
We (wife and I) got tested yesterday. It was a swab inserted 1.5" up one nasal cavity. Hardly the horror show being propagated.

Get over yourself and grow up.

where'd you get this "test", Wal-Mart quik lane? The proper test is the swab, inserted all the way up the nasal cavity and then turned four times, followed by the the same procedure on the other side. It IS uncomfortable and irritating. Stop trying to put others below your superior "manliness" for whatever idiotic subtext you're propagating today.
I believe that test is relatively new. My friend got tested in May and said it feels like it touches your brain.
I hope they were negative. Were you tested because you aren't feeling well, or just as a precaution?I don't think I'm the one with an agenda here.
We went to the drive through being run by a well respected medical practice. Part of the regional testing system. The nurse came to the window, showed us the test kit, and said, "I'm going to put this up one of your nostrils about 1.5 inches, spin it around twice, and pull it out, then put it in this. It will take about 4 seconds total. OK? We said yes, she did it, it was mildly irritating but not dramatically so, and we were done.
Results came back today, via text.

The only issues is, you can get it again. There is no proven immunity yet with this virus. This is why I think it is certain that no pro sports will happen this season.I think it's brilliant. Brady and crew get Covid 19 now, build up antibodies and rip through the season while the rest of the teams are juggling players off and on the sick list.
I agree. I think a season is an extremely optimistic thing to hope for. We're not even close to out of the woods yet. and the pandemic COVID is being compared to, the Spanish Flu, ravaged the world for 3 years. We've learned something from the Spanish Flu, but clearly not enough. This is going to take... awhile.either way, it doesn't really matter since there's not going to be a season
