Patriots QB Newton’s message to everyone

The person I was responding to was talking about keeping him beyond this year. which even if that wasn't putting the cart about 20 miles past the horse, there's other issues with.

they have him on a 1 year deal......if they didn't open the vault for brady, they're not opening the vault for Newton.......the 3rd round comp pick sounds much more enticing

So basically you agree with me.

Colts did it

I used to think so too but not now. They were just that terrible. Coached by a guy with a sub .300 W-L record in college.

I don’t think teams do such a thing when the outcome of a season like they had is a roster and management purge...and that’s what happened with them. Maybe teams don’t make an effort to get better but they don’t deliberately tank a season on purpose..no point in doing that when you probably won’t have a job to see the benefits.

Newton makes the Pats better........Dalton does not.

Newton is here on a mutually beneficial 1 year deal.....Newton on a prove it deal is better than any other option out there

Yea BB has no bias he's like a Vulcan. I meant more the rabid regional media and fanbase that can absolutely destroy a minority athlete who isn't perfect in every way due to a lower tolerance bar.
That is what I meant, that BB can help him in that department if it gets there.

The full version of this video is fire. Pumped me up.

I start to have some fire too...:headscratch:

This season could be much much more better then expected...

Hoping there is a season...

I really don't get the hate for Cam or why anyone thinks this is anything but a good move.

He is a former first overall pick who is not considered a bust. A former league MVP. People believe he can't beat out Stidham GTFO of here.

If his cap hit is vet minimum I think he either is the day 1 starter or he's cut. I think he will be the day 1 starter though and I predict Harry has a good season with him as the QB not a great season but 750-1000 yards with 5-8TD's Cam will throw him balls Brady wouldn't.

Been impressed with Cam's work ethic, at least what I've seen on IG. Stidham, on the other hand, has been eating nothing but crap this off-season. He needs to sit down with the Pats nutritionist.

I still can’t get over the fact he didn’t dive for the fumble in the SB. If that doesn’t show his lack of compete level idk what will. Brady would have dived head first immediately.

Well true, but if we’re going that way, personally I would have liked to seen TB dive for that trick pass in SB52.
