If you don't like Cam, that's fine. I'd suggest getting used to the fact of a QB with mobility though. That said please don't make **** up like he has "character issues/concerns".

Great signing. QB room is better even if situation is murky. Backup QB might be the most important position on the roster considering how often we see them during a season.

Since you're one of the few here who can give a QB like Cam an honest take, and not be mad that he has a bit of an ego (show me a QB who doesn't and I'll show you a QB who isn't in the NFL), do you have any input on how he looks in the pocket as of late? It's hard for me to get a read when I never really watch him, see a lot of hate, but see some good stats. Is he good at going through reads, good poise, etc.? Does his running still seem powerful/a threat? Or do you expect them to keep him in the pocket as much as possible?

Hey this is just history in real time and it is only for fan. I hope no one uses this to insult anybody. Any of you want a redo? Cam has not made the team yet but just bringing him here is huge. It has surprised me as well as I did not see it at all. BB is incredible. Just when you think you know the man, he comes at you with logic.

Any dooshbag can revisit history and brag that I told you so.

Where is your prediction that Newton will sign in NE?

If he can stay healthy and play like 2018, this could get really interesting. He is still young for a QB, and I suspect, very motivated.

The first time he does that stupid Superman pose, I am going to have to find a way to kick myself in the balls for being happy. But I will be happy.

If I cheered for Chris Nilan once, I can certainly get behind Cam.

I am not bragging, I agreed with one of your posts about it all being about him and did not think he will be a good fit. I thought I made that clear in the post at the top.
I also think you went back and forth in your stand about him and thought you argued both pros and cons. This was not to offend, sorry if it offended you. I am going to delete your post from the quotes.

Terrible move. NE now has a QB controversy.

Stidham is toast now. Hoyer isnt threatening. Couple of bad games from Stidham and the calls for Newton will be loud.

I did not post in that thread, I just remember reading it and saying I agreed with your take in March. I guess i misconstrued what you meant by saying that Pats have Newton on speedial. Anyway, I am going to delete your post from the quotes.

Really happy with the move. It was strange to me when there were rumors linking Dalton to the Pats. I felt like if we were going to sign a vet QB that the only answer was Cam.

Also it seems that a lot of talking heads are suddenly smitten with Cam in NE.

The Patriots signed Wes Welker, Donte Stallworth, and Kelley Washington in 2007, and that didn't stop them from going after Randy Moss when he became available at a price they could afford.

Until we see the contract, we won't really know how the Patriots view him.

Stidham isn’t starting week one lol. I don’t know why anybody thought Stidham was a sure fire starter who needed to get a chance besides the fact that he happened to be the guy here.
