I've put together a list of all 614 Tom Brady TDs, complete with gifs of each play.

If I have it right, Brady went 35-2 against the Bills (not including the Week 17 game where he played a quarter.) There was the 31-0 game he lost in the 2003 opener and then that flukey game in Buffalo in 2011 where Ochocinco dropped the GW touchdown.

Just incredible. Great way to categorize and group the plays to filter the images down.

I think you may have ruined my evening plans as I take a stroll down memory lane. Could offer some things to make it more helpful to me, but now's not the time. This site needs a major tweet to get the word out.

I love to hear feedback, so if you have any ideas lemme know :)

OMG, this is amazing....bookmarked!

Thanks so much for doing this....

First of all. Thank you! What an amazing and incredibly entertaining job! I can't imagine how many hours you put into it.

I'm sure we all have the passes we looked for to start. My first was the throw to Amendola to put the Pats within a TD and 2 point conversion in the comeback vs. the Falcons.

My second was Moss' first catch, against the Jets, in 2007. My initial thought: "Where did he come from?" If you look at the coverage and that spot on the field when the ball leaves Brady's hand, it's the last place you would expect him to throw it. It's like Moss comes out of nowhere to make the play and Brady knows he will. Then I said, "Wow, this is something different!"

Finally, a piece of free advice. This is so incredible, I'd suggest that you index it by season and opponent, before somebody else steals it and does it and claims the credit.

Thanks again! Awesome!

It means I'm going to have to go back and re-tag every play, but I want to add more detail to each of them to get more granular information like this. I'm thinking of adding the time left in the quarter, the pass direction, air yards, and YAC. Could probably build some cool displays of the data with that information. And I was able to find a trove of data that lists that information for every play since 1999, so the first step is to parse that to get a list of what I need.

What you have done is already amazing. Thanks. I can't imagine how much time you've put into this. Wow.

I wonder how many of those 2nd quarter TDs were after the 2 minute warning.

@oo0shiny - we have a Brady/Pats stat request! Please have it on our desks by Monday. Thanks.

Also ... I can't be the only one who scrolled all the way down the list and clicked on the Tom Ashworth one first, right?
No you aren't...that was the first one I clicked too...I love watching games/highlights from Gillette when the playing surface was still Real Grass (last game on it: 2006 week 10 vs Jesters; last TD pass thrown on it went to Ol' Bug Eyes RIP).

Great work!

Does the project end with 2019 data or continue post-TB12?

I've spent the last few years putting together a website to track the Patriots dynasty. It's titled, creatively, Tracking the Patriots Dynasty | Patriots Dynasty. It's got some cool stuff in it, but the newest project that I've just completed is a list of every Tom Brady TD sorted in a few different ways: Tom Brady's TD Passes | Patriots Dynasty

Let me know what you think, and if you have any ideas for what I could add to the site.

This could be the biggest play for the Pats this century.

It took years for most people to acknowledge that Tom Brady was special. Every stupid excuse in the book, and some more just made up for him.

Brady showed me more than enough in 2001 to be convinced.

This play, in a game we had to win, down 13-0 in the second half on the road:

New England got its offense going after Mike Vrabel's 12-yard
interception return of a pass tipped by Brandon Mitchell early in
the third quarter. [On third down at midfield] Fred Coleman went 46 yards on a slant-in -- his
first reception of the season -- to set up Antowain Smith's 4-yard
run.

"The play to Coleman was important," Patten said. "He's the
third or fourth receiver, and for him to make a play like that
really got us going."

I’ll start building my JS4 TD collection this season and share it in 2039 :D

I don't know yet. I'm trying to figure out if Brady leaving is the end of the Dynasty, or if things should keep going since Belichick is still in charge.

Yep, we actually talked about that in our podcast that we've started where me and my brothers are going back and rewatching each of the games of the Dynasty era. The episodes are attached to the individual game pages: 2001 Week 12 | Patriots Dynasty

I think this should stay in the sticky threads part. Or wait till Brady retire so we dont stir any pots lol

This is insane work, my dude, great job!

His only TD pass from Brady, and that's a shame...If only he had...H-A-D...bought what Bill was selling...
