Bad Guys: Top villains in Patriots history

Fivehead and Rex are not villains they’re rivals. I don’t hate them off the field. There’s a difference. Eli, Tyree and Foles are not villains either. That’s like saying Desmond Howard is a Patriots villain.

Eric the Rat, Suggs, Goodell, Pollard, and Tatum definitely belong on a list like this.

Goodell is the only villain. His ineptitude during Spygate severely changed how the Pats were viewed going forward and deflategate was a cluster**** but we got the last word

Goodell
Tatum
Pollard
TJ Ward
Ratgini

Honorable Mention: The Murderer, Suggs, Harbawl, Kensil

Bernard Pollard for deliberately injuring brady and gronk.
John Tomase for being a lying gasbag.
Herr Goodell for using the Patriots, twice, to consolidate his power base.
Exponent for deliberately falsifying the scientific report.
Jim Harbaugh for being a whiny *****.

Goodell
Pollard
ESPN
Grigson
Mangini

Yes to Tomase
RL who KAG too.

Villains:

Roger Goodell
Troy Vincent
Mike Kensil (relocated to Asia after DFG)
Jeff Pash
Ted Wells (reputation ruined by DFG/Exponent)
Ryan Grigson
Jim Irsay (remained Jim Irsay after DFG)
Steve Biscotti
John Harbaugh

Chris Mortensen
Bob Kravitz (career killed by DFG)
Peter King
Ian O’Connor
John Clayton
Jackie MacMullan (career stifled by DFG hatchet job)
John Tomase (career ruined by SPG hatchet job)

LaDanian Tomlinson (lol)
Patrick Peterson (reputation killed by DFG karma)
Mark Brunell (manhood killed by DFG melodrama)

Arthur Blank (soul killed by Tom Brady)
Bob McNair (killed by DFG karma)
Jerry Jones
Marty Hurney
Robert Kraft (reputation killed by DFG karma)

Denny Chin

Somewhat Redeemed Villain:

Eric Mangini. He did what we want everyone else to do and is forgiven in my book; he apologized and regretted the **** storm; a heartfelt apology from anyone outside the NYJFL office that orchestrated DFG gets forgiveness from me.

Forgot about Marshall Faulk. Booed out of Foxboro if he’s seen. Warner a decade ago too but he’s really become a Brady and Patriots fanboy in recent years.

And Joey Porter! The “0 tackles” on the scoreboard was awesome and I can’t think of a more deserving player.

The 76 team remains my all time favorite. It was the first great Patriots team and was indeed robbed by Ben Dreith.

Dreith.

Ben Dreith.

That said, truth is, the legion of evil that originated from the remnants of anti-AFL corruption and criminality which focused directly on Boston with the consummation of the merger in 1970, has only grown and gained strength the last half century.

Patriots villainy is as embedded and entrenched as white supremacy. In addition to local and national media, oppression has come right from the top. Don't be fooled into thinking Goodell is some sort of rogue. Paul "The Patriots damaged the league" Tagliabue would not ever have said that about any other franchise, no matter how blatant or real their offense.

And Rozelle, after making us send TWO first round draft picks to the Vikings for signing Joe Kapp, responded to Shula's crybabying after the snow plow game by saying: "I agree."

1976: Dreith had help and support. He acted on behalf of the league. They did not and to this day do not want the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.

His name even sounds like a villain, like Dreith Vader or something

What do you mean you don't hate Peyton off the field? He literally sent goons to someone's house for having the audacity to tell on him for sexual misconduct.

I would put urban Myers in the villain category.

because if his inept coaching and Terrible recommendations, we wasted a bunch of draft capital on total turds that he coached and/or recommended.
