Let's put football aside because they haven't been affected by the pandemic as much as the other sports. But I don't miss the rest of them.

NBA - I was starting to take more of an interest in the C's but that interest has faded away and I don't think it will ever come back.
NHL - The B's looked like they were on a roll and at first I was annoyed by the NHL's proposed playoff format. Now I don't care.
MLB - I stopped watching many years ago but I started to go to some games recently with my son. I won't be returning.
PGA - I've been working on the driving range at the pro tourney in Norton since I retired (has it really been 12 years?!?) and I'm scheduled to work it again in August. I'm leaning toward not going back.

I know the saying is you don't know what you missed until it's gone, but that doesn't apply at all now. I'm finding out instead that I don't miss them.

Similar here although I went golfing twice and had a good time. I'll miss the NFL season if it doesn't happen because of all the stuff my family does together during the season.

I’m interested in the new look Pats....I like the Celtics.....baseball and golf are like watching paint dry, and the nhl is fun when I remember to watch it.

I don’t miss any of it.....maybe when the weather starts to suck, but in the meantime, kayaking, biking, hiking, and frisbee golf fill the time more than adequately

I have been surprised as well. I spent a lot of time watching & following sports my entire life. I was really into the NFL draft this year because - at the time - our area was more much limited (and cold!) in what we could do.

As much as I enjoy sports, I’ve only missed them a fraction of what I thought I would... pro leagues better get their act together, because if I can « not miss it », I can see how casual fans would be moving on as well...

I was on the verge of almost caring about the Celtics but hadn't actually watched them all season. Was considering getting into (European) soccer. Don't feel a huge loss there.

As for football, which is the only sport I truly care about, it just feels like any other year during the deadest part of the offseason. I certainly find myself wishing for football to watch.

Baseball? Let's just leave it closed forever.

I‘ve never watched sports much outside of the Pats - too many commercials, games too long, too many meaningless games, tedious pace of play, etc.

The only thing I miss is reading the box scores and articles during the work day. It was an easy bit of escapism: a cheap way to think about and analyze something completely outside your own life that was work-appropriate and ubiquitous.

I kinda miss playoff NBA and NHL only because the Celtics and Bruins looked like they could make a run

Don't miss basketball, do miss baseball and hockey. Thrilled euro soccer is back bc I'm a huge fan of the Bundesliga and European football in general. But most importantly I'm most excited bc my daughter can finally play and I can coach her in softball.

I miss it a lot. I’m tired of Netflix, etc. and would like some live sports to watch.

I miss reading about sports as much if not more. All the current news is just horrible.

It's funny but I could care less. Any of the three (hockey, baseball, basketball) are only coming back for a quick cash grab and nothing else. When football season rolls around I will feel different. IF there is a football season?

I think sports will always have a place in cities with bad weather and people have to stay inside a lot or inside bars

.

I could care less if baseball ever comes back. It is now an atrocious product not worth watching unless you are a diehard. Never been big into hockey but will watch playoffs. Football I don’t really care either given the Pats situation.

NBA is the one sport I really want back and am looking forward to.

Maybe the Patriots will be different but I was Surprised how little it now matters to me now. The Bruins are my favorite. Me and the kids Got over that much faster than expected. I would assume the Patriots will be the same.

I was kind of interested in seeing them return but now that’s it’s obvious every game is going to include an hour of Corona Virus and Social Justice commentary you can count me out.

Unfortunately the sports world seems irrevocably intertwined with the political world for the foreseeable future. Now like movies and music it doesn’t interest me much.

I have found I get nearly as much enjoyment out of sports video games like NHL20 and MLB The Show as I did from the real thing without having to endure the comments of misunderstood geniuses like Kyrie Irving.

One thing for sure outside of maybe the NHL My family will never pay to see a live sporting event again.

Sad but true.

Currently Baseball seems like watching the rich arguing with the mega-rich about who gets the upper deck rooms on the Titanic.

Who needs sports with the ongoing purge underway.

"frisbee golf"....wearing a tutu and pink Pumas...jeezus krist

The only one of the "big 4" that currently interests me to any real level is hockey. I have no interest in watching wokesports, and I've been (happily) boycotting MLB since they took away the World Series. If baseball, basketball and football were to all fold up permanently, I'd probably breathe a sigh of relief.

I stopped consuming live games of all the other pro and college sports but football more than a decade ago. I follow the Celtics, Bruins and RedSox in a second hand way via media accounts, hi-lites, and some other fan forums, but I cannot be bothered to actually watch their full games. That will not change when the MLB, NBA, and NHL return from the pandemic. I do miss the discussion surrounding the actual games however. It’s always been a distraction from the real stresses of life and the hyper political nature of most other discussions these days.

Other than the NHL playoffs, nothing has changed for me. That will change in August if there is no football. But even then, it wouldn't mean much to me if sports never came back. As I get older, priorities are becoming clearer.

Like others, baseball to me is like watching paint dry. Loved it as a kid, casual observer as a young adult. Now don't know a majority of the Red Sox players. How crazy. I cried in 1986 and gave less than a **** in 2004. Basketball is like watching paint. Not watching paint dry, just watching paint.

I am really interested in seeing how the 2020 Patriots will/would have turned out. If it doesn't happen, oh well.
