What a talent he was...smart, very clutch and a great guy. I get that he lives out of state and struggled with his unfortunate short career...but I really hope he gets more involved with the Pats. Can you imagine the inspirational speeches he could give? "You get one year to show the world what you are made of...and then it's over. Take advantage of your opportunity".
 
Over the years have seen many campaigns to try to get kids to read and hone their reading skill, remember "Reading is Fundamental" it seems that many of those efforts were thought of and developed from afar...

For Mitchell, a guy who could not read after graduating, this effort is different on many levels.. he was there and chose to make things different..

Good for him and a great effort..
 
That book club he was in with a bunch of old ladies in Georgia is one of the coolest things I've ever heard of for an NFL player off the field.
 
I was surprised that MM played that year after looking like he broke his elbow in preseason.....
 
Felt bad about his bad wheels. Could have been a solid WR for several seasons.
