Tony doesn't watch Hee Haw...I imagine he spends his "alone time" watching Troy Brown highlights on repeat.

Do Iowan kids get there Harvester permits stapled to their GEDs? Or do they even need their GED? Just trying to understand your superior culture.

How did you come to the conclusion to select that particular Troy Brown photo? Did you find him particularly striking in that one? How many others did you go through before selecting that one? Does he know about your obsession? Does your family? So many questions.

It bothers you that he's black, doesn't it. Haha.

One of the commonly accepted norms of our superior culture is that grown men typically don't worship at the alter of other grown men. It tends to humiliate the women and children.

So let's all worship generic monochromatic stadium avatars?

It's simply fascinating to me that you took the time to do it. Fascinating.

On a Patriot's football forum no less. Go figure.

Jesus, it's an football player avatar on a football forum. Lighten up. Most grown men don't spend a lot of time in football forums but here we are.

I think that there is like 500 world religions, when you count all of the subdivisions such as the many flavors of Christianity.

Which is why when one of my social media friends starts on a "we need to put prayer back in public schools" argument, I say "Fine. We will rotate, one prayer every school day, for all religions. Your prayer will come up every three years or so, so your kid should try not to miss that day"

Then suddenly the argument becomes quite obviously not about "prayer in schools" but rather about "my prayer, the type that I want, every day, in every school".

It's called freedom of religion, not freedom from religion, and it was important to our founding fathers. I trust them much more than I do the pols who run the schools.

and you do what to make a difference.....Please tell me its not just *****ing (on a football forum) how life is unfair to a select set of individuals.

If it is you should rethink your life....or get one.

you should be more concerned with what you do...most recently, I donated my stimulus check to the local food pantry.... WTF do you do?

actually freedom from religion is part of freedom of religion

I unfollowed his tone deaf BS. I'm not bitter, but he's not our QB. I don't need his holier than tho, I know what's best for you crap currently.
Something was off with him this past year and it's only grown worse since he's been in Tampa. I guess Brady was the guy of the 2000s and 2010s. But he isn't the guy of the 2020s. His whole routine doesn't play as the world burns with a virus, economic uncertainty, and police brutality.

Here's hoping players like Mahomes can fill the superstar void in a way that inspires people both on and off the field. That inspirational figure isn't Brady anymore.

I’ve done a lot over many years. Many sacrifices. Not quite the sacrifices that the hero Colin Krap made but I did make them

more importantly it’s what I don’t do. I don’t pontificate on a Football forum about politics over and over and have political instigating signatures and then deny that I pontificate about politics and blame others ...

oh wait blaming others. Oops I forgot.

It depends on a number of factors.

Question back at you...How much do you have to absolutely love a guy to select him as your avatar? I find it strange, but I'm trying to understand how somebody over the age of 12 does that. Curious.

I'm way over 12 and I have two guys pictured in my avatar. Is that worse or better to you?

One of the most beloved people I've known was my uncle Tony.

And if another poster wants to put the picture of a former player as his avatar, I can't think of a better choice than Troy Brown.

Prayer should be a voluntary thing in public school, to be done silently or with others who are like-minded in their free time, and never led by a faculty member. To deny this right, is an indisputable infringement on freedom of religion.

I ask you, what about the color of ones skin makes a person tend toward criminality?

That one's easy. A high majority of black kids are born into fatherless homes.

yes you did
Really, this might be the first time I actually discussed politics.

But think what you want. Its all good. Like I said, the offer stands - If you want to get together and figure out how us two smart guys are going to make a real difference, let me know.

So, cops protecting bad cops because they belong in the organization is ok? Please answer.

Good cops don't protect bad cops. Bad cops are the significant minority. There is no systemic problem with bad cops in our country. We do have a massive problem with specific segments of our country disproportionately committing violent crime, and this leads to more frequent violent interactions with law enforcement. This is not complicated.
