Soooo... who first raised hydroxycloroquine and politics in this thread? Was it the righties or the lefties? Wonder whose fault it was the coronavirus thread got shut down...

Are some of you guys going coocoo from being stuck at home for weeks?

You knew what he meant when he said 'found innocent', but because you have no leg to stand on you're going to try to make a simple mistype into an IQ indicator.
Bull. Don't get all triggered over the fact that there's no such thing in criminal court as being "found innocent". It shows phenomenal ignorance regarding how the court system works. Maybe if he wasn't arrogantly lecturing me about "the American way" I could have ignored it. But he deserved to be taken down a few pegs, and I was plenty happy to do so.

If you don't like what I say, feel free to GFY and put me in your ignore file.

This isn't the first time I've seen you talk about putting someone on ignore because they didn't agree with you. That explains a lot.

Oh, it's new. After a good couple of decades of the make-believe brigade, I've decided if you're a thick-headed fact-denying nihilistic sophist, you can fork off to contort a perfectly good expression; we're not having a conversation when one point of view continually embraces open-minded consideration of facts, and the other is this la-la-land bullshlitz, where up is down, black is white, the ice caps aren't melting and if they are it's good, and masks during a pandemic are a sign of weakness.

I thought I'd be the last holdout against the fuggit, off to ignore with ya response. If you want to be there too, let me know either with a dumbass rightist bubble comment, or by direct request.

Life's too fuggin short

You are correct, I misspoke.

I only mentioned it because I've heard it at other times and it strikes a chord in my brain.

One other problem that we have convicting criminals has been because of the amount of interviews done on former jurors. Defense attorneys have been given a road map on how to get guilty people set free.

This time it was @venecol at post #37. I even responded to him with an attempt at humor with "I love the smell of hydroxycloroquine in the morning" but it didn't work.

But you have to be proven guilty. I’m sure lawyers have gotten many innocent people who may have appeared guilty free with the same tactics. The standard of beyond a reasonable doubt means the intention was that it’s better for a guilty man to walk than an innocent man be convicted.

We moved into a new home and have plenty to keep us busy, inside and out. Plus, we're in a new state that isn't being run by idiots.

You can do whatever you want. I just think it's strange how close minded you are for someone who wants to talk politics 24/7. I prefer to try and have an intelligent conversation with people I don't agree with.

Btw, this thread is another great example of how some of you want to get in every political dig you can no matter the subject. Below is only a portion of how off the rails you went...

"a thick-headed fact-denying nihilistic sophist, you can fork off to contort a perfectly good expression"
"and the other is this la-la-land bullshlitz, where up is down, black is white, the ice caps aren't melting and if they are it's good, and masks during a pandemic are a sign of weakness."

Yes, I agree with that wholeheartedly, and it's the reason that many states don't have the death penalty, even though it's clearly a deterrent.

Look at that case in Wisconsin that was the basis for the Making a Murderer documentary. The police framed a man and his nephew for a murder in separate trials, claiming that the same woman was killed in two different places.

The prosecutor in those cases was 52-0. Are they trying to say that he never gets an innocent man in court? He sure used the media to perfection before the trial began.

Eh you are not yet personal-banworthy. See how simple it is? Don't be ignant to me, you're fine. Annoy me, and off you go. Truthfully I don't much care how the various factions feel about my choice not to engage with willful idiots.

As I've said, most on the left have put up with all sorts of denialism, faux "open mindedness," etc., from the primarily racist science-denying right wing.

I'm done with giving the dolts the benefit of the doubt. You'll probably end up on my personal ignore list, because I don't need that poo poo in my life anymore.

So next tell me how I don't have a really complete view of how my plumbing works because I only drink the tap water, but never drink toilet water, especially pre-flush. Hell, my cat is much more "open minded" about the latter, but even he becomes "closed-minded" just after I pinch a loaf.

And that's what I mean about not needing it in my life.

It’s a shame you hide from viewpoints you disagree with.
