Don't get all triggered over the fact that there's no such thing in criminal court as being "found innocent". It shows phenomenal ignorance regarding how the court system works. Maybe if he wasn't arrogantly lecturing me about "the American way" I could have ignored it. But he deserved to be taken down a few pegs, and I was plenty happy to do so.You knew what he meant when he said 'found innocent', but because you have no leg to stand on you're going to try to make a simple mistype into an IQ indicator.
This isn't the first time I've seen you talk about putting someone on ignore because they didn't agree with you. That explains a lot.
You are correct, I misspoke.
Soooo... who first raised hydroxycloroquine and politics in this thread? Was it the righties or the lefties? Wonder whose fault it was the coronavirus thread got shut down...
But you have to be proven guilty. I’m sure lawyers have gotten many innocent people who may have appeared guilty free with the same tactics. The standard of beyond a reasonable doubt means the intention was that it’s better for a guilty man to walk than an innocent man be convicted.I only mentioned it because I've heard it at other times and it strikes a chord in my brain.
One other problem that we have convicting criminals has been because of the amount of interviews done on former jurors. Defense attorneys have been given a road map on how to get guilty people set free.
Are some of you guys going coocoo from being stuck at home for weeks?
Oh, it's new. After a good couple of decades of the make-believe brigade, I've decided if you're a thick-headed fact-denying nihilistic sophist, you can fork off to contort a perfectly good expression; we're not having a conversation when one point of view continually embraces open-minded consideration of facts, and the other is this la-la-land bullshlitz, where up is down, black is white, the ice caps aren't melting and if they are it's good, and masks during a pandemic are a sign of weakness.
I thought I'd be the last holdout against the fuggit, off to ignore with ya response. If you want to be there too, let me know either with a dumbass rightist bubble comment, or by direct request.
Life's too fuggin short

It’s a shame you hide from viewpoints you disagree with.Eh you are not yet personal-banworthy. See how simple it is? Don't be ignant to me, you're fine. Annoy me, and off you go. Truthfully I don't much care how the various factions feel about my choice not to engage with willful idiots.
As I've said, most on the left have put up with all sorts of denialism, faux "open mindedness," etc., from the primarily racist science-denying right wing.
I'm done with giving the dolts the benefit of the doubt. You'll probably end up on my personal ignore list, because I don't need that poo poo in my life anymore.
So next tell me how I don't have a really complete view of how my plumbing works because I only drink the tap water, but never drink toilet water, especially pre-flush. Hell, my cat is much more "open minded" about the latter, but even he becomes "closed-minded" just after I pinch a loaf.
And that's what I mean about not needing it in my life.
