If they're innocent I hope they're cleared of all charges. But if someone had 70 large swiped from them and decided to go around the law to get it back, I could see it playing out exactly this way.

Charges are not proven, but with bored athletes hitting the clubs, getting drunk and doing stupid crap, I certainly would call it plausible.

wrong...if you're making millions and some punk rips off 70 grand you PAY another punk to settle the score for a cut. WTF do you even care for? These morons probably blow 70 large in a week on hookers and blow. **** them and their blowup Tyreek Hill puppet dolls.

Not wrong. These guys are proud of their physical prowess and are self-motivated go getters, I could easily see them deciding to handle it themselves

Practice squad players in 2019 can earn a minimum of $8,000 per week during the regular season and postseason, per the current CBA, but there is no cap on the amount practice squad players can receive.

Was there ever a long continuing Pats and Police thread?

It seems like other than this incident the NFL has done a lot of good PR and little bad press.

Other than Chung the Pats have stayed clear of the law for awhile.

17 weeks x 8 = 156K plus whatever signing bonus said player got...plus if he's activated to the active roster for a game or two...that's more $$$....

I wouldn't call $70K chump change for a PS player, though it is much closer to that for a bottom-of-first-rounder like DeAndre Baker, especially because of the guarantees within that rookie contract ...Gettleman's squarely on the hot seat now; he traded UP for this genius...Another reason why trading Down is Almost Always the better move...

Dude, what in the ever loving f#*+ are you talking about?
They lost 70000 GAMBLING.
They were at a cookout, got into an argument and pulled guns and stole the money and watches of the guests.
How is this being proud of your physical prowess? They PULLED GUNS AND ROBBED PEOPLE.
What were they handling themselves? Recovering gambling losses with armed robbery?
They didn’t get robbed then go beat up the guy who robbed them. Nothing even close to that.
