Even with Wynn after his return the offense generally stunk. Many of us have correctly pointed out, that the last 8 games plus a playoff game the Patriots offense, led by Tom Brady, was in the bottom 1/3 of the NFL is just about every offensive category..they were awful, especially for the Pats.
Brady's first half vs Houston was one of the worst halves I've seen a quarterback play in a LONG TIME....and that was pretty much indicative of his play the entire last half of the season plus the playoff game. Brady played well ONCE in the last 9 games (at home vs Buffalo)...other than that, Tommy Hodson, Tom Brady, couldn't tell the difference

I think his overall numbers are skewed by the fact that he played well in the first half of the season. And we know Bill gets rid of players (even Brady) before they start to really get bad. I don't think Bill is against bringing back a 43-45 year old QB per se, but that guy has to be better than all other options. At this point you have to think that Bill feels Stidham is better. I really wish Tom recognized that it was time to hang it up and retired as a Patriot.

All these things he's mocked for is why he's the greatest of all times. All those things Rogers, Farve, Manning etc. were/are always praised for is why they are not.

Dudes a clown man, we didn’t deserve Brady at all

...Brady's elbow...

A 43 year old QB with a bad throwing elbow after 20+ years of slinging it is definitely something to worry about. Inability to recover from injury is what ultimately ends athletes careers. I'd guess he's near certain to aggravate the elbow again and at his age he's 50/50 to have serious performance problems because of it.

Tampa's OL was 10th worse in adjusted sack rate last year, too. Tom's quick release will help that but say goodbye to Tampa's league-leading 13.4 yds/catch unless Arians is dumb enough to get Tom clobbered by asking him to wait on downfield routes. INT's will be down for sure, but so will TD's.

Tom might make it to the end of 2020 but I'd say it's very unlikely he finishes two seasons. He's in a steeply declining age/injury regime, and being the GOAT and the "TB12" mantras can only help so much.

Well I don't know if it was a bad throwing elbow or an injured throwing elbow.

We'll see how Tampa's Oline shapes up with Gronk and a QB that likes to get rid of the ball quick.

Not saying you're wrong but it'll be interesting to see.

There was so much wrong with the offense last season that it would impossible for me to gauge if and how much TBs level dropped off.

I could be happy either way. I could be like "That's our Tommy & Gronk, New England South represent!" Or I could be like, "Ha ha, better a year early than a year late, looks like we nailed it this time though..."

When he's back in a Patriots uni er ball cap for his retirement, I'm a fan again. Right now he's amusing. Get another ring! I was with ya all the time! Ohhhh flamed out, that's too bad, system quarterback... it's like playing with house money

I dont think Bill thinks Stidham is a better quarterback than Brady is. I think he wants to get him there but he couldn't wait for Brady for another 3 years before Stidham got the chance. I know you think hes better than Brady. You play that hand evey single day.

All I know is that we got twenty years of incredible mixed with some unbelievable. We'll be playing with house money long after I'm gone.

Between he and sb1 I could find more football knowledge in an empty soup can.

Um no, I've posted here like 3 times in the past few weeks. But thanks for playing. If Stidham fails after one year, are you going to be the first one to trash Bill?

Only you would actually look in a soup can for football knowledge in the first place...

I guess your degree from the University of Devry didn't cover analogies.

Yep.

I am not cheering for the Bucs or #Tommy to win a ring unless they are playing a team I hate in the SB. The salt and butthurt from some so-called “Patriots fans” toward this opinion lately is kind of hilarious!

I even got a bunch of Brady lovers dislikes when I dared call Stidham JS4. Lmfao

No, I got it. It was just stupid.

BTW, you are what, 70 years old? I suggest you grow up if you are still mad at me from the politics stuff. You bring it up every time I post.

Probably not but it’s not like JS4 has a high bar to climb when compared to the 2019 version of Brady...

It's not the " not rooting for" that bothers people it's trashing the guy who is the only reason your pink hat'd ass is wearing a Pat's jersey on game day.

Unfortunately, there are people here whose happiness is tied to Brady being on the Pats...it's kind of sad, really. You see them on this forum switch avatars to Buccaneers logos, trash Bill for non re-signing him, and still say they are "Patriots fans."

Yup and we get accused of “hating” TB12. lol And one of them gave a dislike on a post saying Stidham’s my QB. Nuff said.

Been a fan long before #Tommy got here and don’t plan on leaving. Hopefully the pink hats have different plans.
