Networks to use fake crowd noise at games without fans

they should call indy and atlanta for some advice.

I wish they would just let it be. Lame tricks will only sound fake.

It would be funny / appropriate if they create fake boos when the refs make calls against the home team

Fake crowd noise or no crowd noise... both are beyond lame and will ruin the experience a great deal. Pick your poison I guess. Not sure which I'd prefer.

How about instead have NFL FILMS type "football" music in the background?

Every game's going to be a Colts game. How lovely.

Still trying to wrap my head around any football without the crowd and associated hoopla.. not sure that "fake" crowd noise would do anything for me.

It is gonna be a huge adjustment for all.. who will control the fake crowd noise?? The home team, media or the NFL??

Maybe they can get some foam fingers that automatically pop up when there is a FG attempt....

Getting way to bizarre for me..

I don’t watch for the sound, I watch for the competition and strategy. Never understood the « crowd noise adds SOOO much » argument.

The other league used fake crowd noise and it was terrible

Fox suggesting "Fake Crowd Noise" to go along with their "Fake News." Just perfect, what is next "Fake Trump or Real Trump" screaming at players that kneel "You're Fired"

That idea sucks. I'd prefer either:

1) field-level microphones so we can hear the sounds of the game, or

2) hilarious cartoon noises like that funny running sound when someone breaks off a long one, or that sneaking one when a linebacker is creeping up to the LOS.
