Sort of OT: Dolphins early plans for fans at their games

I’m curious how they plan to do security pat-downs and stuff like that. I mean, if you are checking each spectator at the entrances, it kinda defeats the point of social distancing.

Also, good luck getting everyone to sit docilely in their seats until it is their row’s turn to leave. Just because it works during communion doesn’t mean it’ll work at a football game. And you don’t think people will want to leave early?

I’m ready for a Patriots Dolphins firefly funhouse game :D

I'll follow whatever rules you ask so long as I don't have to miss a home game. Also still hoping to take a road trip or two. I understand I may dreaming but I need this.

Well this raises another interesting point.... if only 1/5th of the stadium is open for seating, how would a team with sold out season tickets decide who gets what game? How happy would you be if I got the Ravens game and you got the Jets?

I think full season tickets should be offered based on seniority first. None of this split crap. And most definitely those of us that are season ticket members and Foxboro residents should be allowed in (it is our town taking on the added exposure). But that's just my very much biased opinion.

You basically proved that no matter what solution they come up with, the majority of people are going to be upset.

This is beyond nutty.

I was hoping the season would start at some point in September to empty stadiums, but the NFL is going to screw things up so badly they will be lucky to start by Halloween.

Miami area fans have been social distancing from the Dolphins for YEARS. ;)
