no i am 78 ,2 strokes,paralyzed left hand. pats FAN since start of team 1960.I also have watched how BB goes about building team.Draft,FA,and picking up players to replace the departed in fa,aging and losing production.I have known many older Pats players.

I'd settle for knowing who will be on this team come Sept 10, as somehow there will be a lot of finagling with this roster... there are still many adjustments to be made.

I’m just gonna enjoy the rebuild that starts in 2020. It’s gonna be a journey but it seems some just want to skip that part. I guess I get it since they’ve been so competitive over the last 20 years but you had to know this was a long time coming. Very excited if there is a season to see what happens next.

If Stidham were even a mediocre QB, this would be a normal re-load year for our 12-4 team. Sure, there are weaknesses as there are every year. Sure there are positions to fill compared to last year.

I understand that there are folks here who believe that even with Brady, this team was ready to collapse. I am one that strongly disagrees, a down year perhaps, but not a collapse.

Yeah. What’s stopping a collapse imo is this defense is very good, a running game which I expect to be a lot closer to end of 2018 form than 2019 when injuries hit- and of course Bill who has already won a bunch of games here without Brady.

This schedule is tough but I don’t think it’s too much to overcome. Like I said already I’m not sure that we even have the toughest schedule in the division.

There’s also no reason to think Stidham is guaranteed to suck and flame out of the NFL as some seem to believe.

Agreed, at this point there aren’t enough bad pieces on this team to collapse. If Stidham has an excellent year then there is no doubt they have a shot at winning the division. Oline, special teams and Secondary are very good. We’ll have to see about the rest. A 2001 season would shatter the worlds dream.

Completely agree and this is why Lawrence at first overall is a pipe dream imo.

The Pats game will no longer be the Super Bowl for the average team. Some opponents even may be overconfident playing a team with allegedly one of the weakest rosters. On the other hand, a few teams, like our division rivals, will be aching for revenge.

The last game with Brissett at QB was a good example. Rex Ryan knew he had at least that one in the bag. He recently spoke about it on ESPN how they were easy to defend.
