I wonder how good the Chiefs would have been if he stuck around there instead of Mahomes. It was Smith that torched the Pats in the opener.

His mentoring of Mahomes was a class act. Smith is a better QB... and WAY better man... than he gets credit for. God bless him.

It's easy to overlook but he had Washington very competitive at the time of his injury. What other QB can make that claim from the past few decades?

Redskins just can't catch a break at QB, get RG3 tears knee never the same, get Smith starts looking competitive breaks leg, Haskins looks like a bust so far.
