The *****ing and moaning of some is insufferable today. The Pats just added a Safety (need), two Linebackers (need), and two Tight Ends (need). Outside of clear home run picks, all selections are speculative and right now, I'm damn happy Bill and Caserio see what we all see and subsequently, are addressing the damn needs.

Steelers: LB/DE Alex Highsmith

Eagles: LB Davion Taylor

Interesting that we went for pass catchers at TE rather than pure blockers. Yes, Asiasi can play inline, and Keene has some tenacity to him, but they're better passing game weapons than blockers. I wonder if that means anything?

‘Plenty of 6OL formations (Cajuste?)

He is unproven but pick 6... as in how Brady ended our season last year? Small sample sizes and all. Just sayin.

9-7 isn’t unreasonable imo. May or may not win the division. We’ll see,
9-7 is unreasonable unless Stidham is a stud in the making.

Asiasi has the size and power to be a good blocker. Can't really say if he is now, didn't pay close enough attention, but I'm sure the Pats are planning on making him a versatile TE.

Rams: S Terrell Burgess.

I think we could get to 9-7 with Stidham merely being a pleasant surprise emergence, but quite a bit would have to go right. Basically the first and second year guys would have to step up big to make that happen I think.

Saints: TE Adam Trautman

Doesn’t have to be a stud in the making imo. I expect this team to turn the clock back to 2001. Run game and defense while they see what their young QB has. Nobody predicted greatness out of Brady at the time either.

And we still have Bill.

Right now, generically speaking, and unless Stidham is already veteran starter level, this is a 2-3 win offense, at best.

Trautman finally off the board. Damn, I bet he'll be good on the Saints.

And now NO drafts a TE. Did BB know something that convinced him to trade up?
