This is a top 5 favorite Belichick pick of all time for me, only behind Seymour, Asante Samuel, Devin Mccourty, and Ty Warren.

In a bleak S class BB finds the one you can get excited about..

Now I know why Schefter last night thought the Patriots were very confident the guy they wanted would be there at 37.

Cole Kmet to Chicago

Getting deja vu on this board right now.

This player’s voice cracking every other sentence, Jesus. How long are you going to have this dude on for?

edit: nevermind haha

Walterfootball had Dugger rated as the #2 safety right behind McKinney...

Kyle Dugger, S, Lenoir-Rhyne
Height: 6-0. Weight: 217. Arm: 32.75. Hand: 10.13.
40 Time: 4.49.
Projected Round (2020): 2-3.
4/22/20: Teams have Dugger as a consensus second-day pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Team sources say Dugger has a great skill set as he is big, fast and athletic. That superb skill set was given proof at the combine, where Dugger was excellent.

Dugger put his name on the map in 2019, with high-level scouts like directors of college scouting going to watch him. On the year, he totaled 31 tackles with two interceptions and four passes broken up. His best fit would be as a strong safety in the NFL.

6/22/19: Dugger is a small-school prospect who made it onto NFL teams' preseason watch list. He has a skill set with some size and quickness for the next level. In 2018, Dugger totaled 76 tackles with 13 passes defended and three interceptions. He had 87 tackles with seven breakups and an interception in 2017 over 10 games. Going to a top all-star game and performing well there is important for Dugger's draft grade.

Bears took Cole Kmet, bummer. Didnt expect him to fall to us, but still a little bummed he didn't.

Let’s hope that he is Patriots version of Patrick Queen.

For those who need help. The last 5 CBs taken in the 2nd round for the Patriots (5 in a row as said) are...

Jordan Richards 15' Cyrus Jones 16' Duke Dawson 18' Joejuan Williams 19' and now Kyle Dugger this year. While they have missed a lot the only pick I truly hated was Richards. The others I thought were reasonable risk for their perceived value at the time. Cyrus was probably picked too high to but not a reach.

Thinking back now I would say Dawson where we got him was acceptable for what was believed about him at the time.

Bears took Kmet

D2 safety that analysts had to struggle to find tape on....at a school I’ve never heard of....wow....

I swear to God, I'm not psychic!!!! :D

Does ESPN have a death story for every player in the draft?

He sucks he sucks he sucks Jordan Richards Tavon Wilson HE SUCKS

/sarcasm

So excited about the Chung replacement possibility. Great...pick a guy to sit o the bench for a year or two when we have huge holes at LB and TE.

BB + 2nd rnd pick + Dback = big swing and a miss

I really wish I knew why his valuation formula keeps telling him to draft DBs in the second round. That said, right now he could play in Harmon's spot this year (although Chung's spot is a more natural fit).

You have to laugh based on the history in the 2nd round but I like the pick. Extremely athletic and can fill the need they have at returner. McCourty and Chung don’t have a lot of time left.
I like the pick. Typical Belichick type of player who is versatile and can play different positions, not to mention he can help in the return game.

Nope. Not even close.
LOL please, remove Bills balls from your mouth.

He just drafted a 24 year old, 6 year college playing D2 special teamer in the second. It’s a bust pick at #37 and not defendable in the slightest.
