While I didn't call BB incompetent, and have repeatedly called him among the best HC's in NFL history, BB's had years to fix the problem. He hasn't fixed it. That's incompetence, by definition.

Ummm...Little Billy's competence Should be disparaged.

I think we are going safety. I LOVE Devin and Chung but they are old in football years and we gave away Harmon. I'm not a big fan of us drafting db in the second round because we haven't had good luck such as Duke Dawson etc but that is where I believe we are going.

Some folks here think Belichick actively hurt Brady's career; the last Philly superbowl (LII) being a good argument for that. Brady's winning only 6 in 20 years is taken as evidence that Belichick held him back from even greater GOAT-ness. The Coach/GM who had the GOAT could only win 6 superbowls in 20 years, so he was the anti-Brady, hence the Worst Of All Time.

Yeah, it's a tough matchup in the BB scheme, because it targets the strength of that scheme and turns it into its biggest weakness. In a wide open league, the 250lb+ linebacker is a coverage liability against every receiving option except large TEs.

The teams currently set to pick before the Patriots tonight are:
33. Bengals
34. Colts
35. Lions
36. Giants

Given their trading history with Detroit, it wouldn’t surprise me if they traded up to 35 to ensure they get their guy.

I think Bengals take a WR, which starts a run of them.

I doubt that it will be two. 3-4 is much more likely but using all 5 is unlikely.

I would love Kmet/Trautman especially now since it’s the 2nd/3rd round.

Always thought it was stupid to start it on a Thursday nite, of course I do not live on the West Coast... could easily be done on a weekend, instead of stretching it out over three days...

But that viewer friendly option may not be a viable alternative.. as the current 3 day affair probably translates into more money for the NFl, after all it is always about the money.
