Obviously I don’t think he’d ever agree to do this, but am I crazy for thinking that using Cam Newton in this offense in the Taysom Hill role would be amazing?

The length of contract is exactly the same. Total compensation is exactly the same. Dead money is increased only if a player is cut or traded before the end of his contract.
Sure, but do you really feel comfortable tacking another year onto Gilmore, Cannon or Mason? I guess you would with Gilmore, but that’s it for me.

Restructures do NOT change the length of contracts.

Extensions add to the length of contracts.

For the purpose of dead cap hits they do. It feels like your argument is a bit misleading, that’s all.

He blocks like Jane. No thanks. Sure he can catch well, year before he was great at it, last season not so much due to either playcalling or inability to get open. Going into year 3 and he looks no better at blocking than he did in college. Kelce who isn’t great at blocking looks like Gronkowski compared to this guy. Ask any Good blocking te and every single one of them will tell you technique and effort is the key. He don’t show it.

What the hell are you talking about??? He’s one of
(if not the best) the best blocking TEs in the league. Along with Kittle, Nick Boyle, Hunter Henry etc....You’re really showing your lack of credibility. I’m done here.

This O.J. Howard stat proves he was an effective tight end this year

The Curious Case of O.J. Howard

He's definitely top 3-10 depending on your preference. Probably consensus 3-6?

Throw Goedert in there as well, he's a great blocker. I think he's as good as anyone. Fells is great as well. He's like an extra OL. Burton actually isn't bad. He's been pretty good there too.

The Patriots will trade up for Delpit. He will be another BB second round bust
who missed 20 tackles.

Actually a very good blocker, but a lack of consistent effort landed him in the dog house in TB with Arians.

Feels like a Jalen Hurts day.
I feel like it’s Hurts or we are stacking up on receivers and tight ends.
We need to take at least 2 tight ends draft or trade and at least 2 receivers.
Wouldn’t be shocked to see BB draft 2 safeties as well.
If we really want Hurts we can pry trade down and still get him bottom of the second or begining of the third.

Howard is tempting I want to give Stidham or who ever the QB is going to be plenty of weapons.
I really hope Lock isn’t a much better pro than Stidham.
They were my 2 top QBs.
It sure looks like Denver is giving Lock a winning cast.
We really need to give Jarret weapons.

Still feel like Hurts is the pick at 37.
