2020 Mock Drafts

It was a joke based on his name Kindle. ‘Good read’, get it?

But thanks for the scouting report.
I didn't get that at all until I read this...As you can tell, I'm not a Kindle user, just an Analog Kid in a Digital World...

From Fanspeak, using what I ass-ume is Bleacher Report/Matt Miller's final board, with User-voted team needs & Difficult algorithm:

23: R1P23
WR BRANDON AIYUK ARIZONA STATE
- I've now come to the conclusion that the only way to salvage Kneal, Harry's career is to bring his faster, more explosive teammate to Foxborough, place their lockers next to each other and hope the 2 of them can form a bond with Stid...

87: R3P23
LB MALIK HARRISON OHIO STATE

98: R3P34
TE ADAM TRAUTMAN DAYTON

100: R3P36
OT EZRA CLEVELAND BOISE STATE
- Very doubtful he lasts this long, but hey he's there so...

125: R4P19
EDGE JASON STROWBRIDGE NORTH CAROLINA
- Upgrade on running-down DE from penalty machine Dee Wise...Plus all the other DEs I like here were already taken...

172: R5P26
DT DAVON HAMILTON OHIO STATE
- He's not lasting this long either...

195: R6P16
C/G JONAH JACKSON OHIO STATE
- Mongo replacement.

204: R6P25
WR/PR JOE REED VIRGINIA
- Our Punt Returner problems are solved...another Weapon for Stid/McD...

212: R6P33
FS K'VON WALLACE CLEMSON
- Did Wallace run over Miller's puppy or something? I'll wager my Wuhan check that he's long, Long gone before this pick...

213: R6P34
CB HARRISON HAND TEMPLE
- Slot backup/replacement for Johnny Jones if he continues to suck...

230: R7P16
TE/HB CHARLIE TAUMOEPEAU PORTLAND STATE
- Dalton Keene (& a couple of others) was taken awhile back...A clone (but not with the personality I hope) of the Late Prisoner...

241: R7P27
LB MYKAL WALKER FRESNO STATE
- More fresh blood for the LB room.

And just like that...

Don't know if any of these simulators will have time to program an update now...

Not a fan of THIS one. Need more than one TE and need an explosive wide receiver. To NOT pick a receiver in one of the deepest and best WR drafts ever, is a big failure.

I confessed it was my last mock draft a few days ago but a new change of scenery about Gronk's situation and new 4th round pick ( according to fanspeak we got 139th ) was quiet tempting.

IMO Kinlaw and Malik Harrison will not be available at the point they were taken by me.

I had just missed out on Lipscomb from Vandy but last year we drafted Harry in the 1st and Meyers was a nice find. Let's face it we suck at drafting WRs high. I wanted Deebo, but just about anyone other than Harry could've made a huge impact last year.

Any of the rookies that got hurt in camp and missed the first 8 games wouldnt have done anything either.

I'm probably going to have a 100 of these in my belt before tomorrow night lol

I missed out on Malik so I said f-it let's draft Hurts.

Let's not go overboard with "one of the best WR drafts ever" when there isn't even going to be a WR taken in the top 10.

First time I've ever tried Fanspeak and interested in what you think of this overall draft. I am not as familiar with the lower tier of prospects. Had it on difficult setting user needs and surprisingly I could of taken Tua at 23, but I am not convinced he will hold up in the NFL so played it safe.

The wide receivers flew off the board, but I was satisfied with the TEs.

Here is the draft:

23: R1P23

LB PATRICK QUEEN
LSU

87: R3P23

TE ADAM TRAUTMAN
DAYTON

98: R3P34

S GRANT DELPIT
LSU

100: R3P36

TE HARRISON BRYANT
FLORIDA ATLANTIC

125: R4P19

WR JAMES PROCHE

139: R4P33

EDGE ALEX HIGHSMITH

172: R5P26

DL KHALIL DAVIS

195: R6P16

QB JAMES MORGAN

204: R6P25

OT TREMAYNE ANCHRUM
CLEMSON

212: R6P33

K RODRIGO BLANKENSH

213: R6P34

CB HARRISON HAND
TEMPLE

241: R7P27

WR DEZMON PATMON
WASHINGTON STATE

Here's my 5 rounder. Draft Eve. I went by ESPN rankings.

1. AJ Epenesa - DE - Really helps vs run and slides inside in nickel and dime to team with Butler. Giving us a decent inside pass rush.

3. Raekwon Davis - DT - Everybody has him slipping. Not a great senior year with off-field issues.
him and AJ would really fortify our front.

3. Van Jefferson - wr - Learned the nuances of the position from his dad Shawn. Who is a wr coach and played well for us and was reknowned as a hard-worker.

3. Hunter Bryant - TE - We need a TE who can catch the ball.

4. Markus Bailey - LB - Purdue - Did I mention I was worried about our run D?

4. B. Bredeson - G - Michigan - Thuney replacement.

5. K'Von Wallace - S - Clemson Need some youth back there.

I'd trade Thuney for a 2, sign Cam Newton and trade a 3 for OJ Howard.
Cam gets 2 years with 12 guaranteed, 10m signing bonus with 2 million
this year, 20m for next year kicks in on March 1st next year. Gives us an
out if he struggles. Time to extend him if he does well.

Find one expert who isn't talking about this as one of the best WR drafts ever.

Really like your defense additions
Davis a true run stopper hard to move even with douple teams and epenesa is an upgrade at de although I prefer the upside of YGM to Epenesa if we go DE
Douple dip on TE is also nice but I don’t like cam newton
Would rather use your second rounder for a center or an OT

I'm no expert but I highly doubt this is best class ever. 2014 was pretty good as far recent ones. I'll bet they'll be saying the '21 class is best ever a year from now. Guaranteed.

Everybody talks about stopping KC. But, Baltimore isn't going anywhere as long
as Lamar stays healthy. Gotta stop them too. I think Davis and AJ would be a big
help against them.

I'd be tempted to play a 2 man line with Guy and Epenesa against KC. Hightower and Simon/Wino on edges. One lb - Bentley and a dime with Chung sniffing around LOS. Kind of dare them to run it. Reid doesn''t want to. But, it slows the game down. Still have 3 cb's and a 2 deep with the McCourty brothers defending their passing game.

Would play with Epenesa and Butler on the interior when its an obv pass situation. Guy is a better run stuffer. But yeah stopping the ravens the titans and also some nfc teams with a good ground game, Also we need a heavy run stopper at 0 tech to replace Shelton. I hope they can develop more out of Davis. His Size and Weight are really good to be an every down penetrator. It will depend probably on Saban,

Only one TE, one OLman, and Zero WRs? I think you need to take another crack at it...
