Gronk trade completed

The way I feel about Brady and Gronk is best of luck to them. I accepted that the day would come when Brady and Gronk would no longer be Pats so if they want a little swan song, I’m not going to begrudge them that considering the joy and delight they’ve given me over the last however many years.
You are a bigger man than me I want the Guererro ring busted for PEDs

Brady didnt have any ill will towards BB, he just wanted to prove he could win without him, Gronk wanted to unite with Brady and the rest is history. Important to remember that Brady is 43 and Gronk is still solid but past his prime. coming back from an off year where he lost a bunch of weight and playing for a different coach in a different system.

No. Brady built it. BB rode the GOAT to legend status. You're about to find out.

I simply don't know how you can say this. You are obviously not a Pats fan. You're a Tom Brady fan. It's certainly your right to this opinion but it reminds me of those Tebow nuts that showed up here for a couple of months.

NFL network can't shut up about it.. ****in giddy...

They’ve had nothing to talk about for over a month besides the Brady thing. I guess you can’t blame them.

Some thought Gronk would return a 3rd or OJ Howard, embarrassing.

Hopefully Brady doesn’t ruin this by not going to OTA

Eh, people definitely overrate a coach’s importance overall, but you’re not giving him enough credit. They needed his defenses to win some of those Super Bowls, too. That said, let’s not forget that the guy does not have a winning record without Brady as a HC. Those who seem to think that tough days aren’t ahead just because BB is here a very likely in for a bit of a rude awakening in 2020.

He does for the Patriots doesn’t he? But, I agree that the immediate future doesn’t look rosy.

Awesome! Can he play wide receiver or quarterback though?

We were Gronk away to probably be in Miami...

Not sure I am buying that. Let's be honest the last year Gronk was here he was pretty bad. In Tampa they won't ask a whole lot of him so he can go out there make some blocks and catch a few passes.

The receivers were so bad last year that I don't even know if a prime Gronk helps that much.

He still follows him on Twitter. Not instagram. What is this even supposed to mean?
UPDATE: Edelman follows Brady on instagram. Perhaps he re-followed when he saw people bickering about it on Twitter, since Brady is the most recent 'follow' he made according to my screenshot. Wild stuff, I know.

Things will change ...with AB and Gronk, Brady and all TB other weapons.....they would be easy favorite for SB....I think Brady will talk Arians into giving him a chance and keep him out of trouble....Arians is very relaxed coach to play for which would suit AB

Arians isn't historically great, but he's far from a bad coach. This isn't like Brady going to play for an absolute stiff like Adam Gase or something.
Gase did a good job last year.

I don't think BB is trash as a coach. He definitely blows chunks as a GM. And I think he is "good" as a a coach. Not great, not legend. His record is mediocre without Brady and I don't like the way he's jerked Brady (and others) around for years now. He would be absolutely nothing as a HC without Brady. I am convinced of that.

Does everyone remember that dude that posted in here saying his friend with the Pats told him the Pats were prepping Gronk's un-retirement papers and we all called that poster an a**hole?

A broken clock is right twice a day.

Maybe. I disagree about the extent to which coaching matters, we've just had such a good one for so long that we're spoiled.

They have the best secondary in football and play in a popgun division. That can get you far if things go right, a season of football just has too much randomness to write them off completely. The Mark Sanchez Jets did pretty well at times. That said, I wouldn't bet heavily on them.

Very disappointed in Gronk ....one of my favorite players all time but what he did last year with all the BS teasing and now forcing his way down to Tampa ..is a real kick in stomach to all Pats fans .....sorry this is disappointing and tarnished him here a little

A little??

I agree. But Arians is pretty good. Two time COY with two different teams. Tampa was rocking pretty good last year in his first year save for Winston being a TO machine.
Ariens is a good offensive coach.

He also told us Brady was staying with the Patriots and something else that was positively false.

Lombardi disagrees.

And apparently Belichick disagrees with the consensus on Howard's talent.
