Isn't Bruce highly regarded on the Offensive side of the ball? I realize he hasn't achieved what BB has but I didn't know game planning was his issue.

It was even stupider to accept it two days out from the draft and not continue negotiations to get a better return.

No. That ship has sailed. Tampa might as well keep him for his cap number. That would give them the two best blocking TEs in all of football.

Very disappointed in Gronk ....one of my favorite players all time but what he did last year with all the BS teasing and now forcing his way down to Tampa ..is a real kick in stomach to all Pats fans .....sorry this is disappointing and tarnished him here a little

This is well set up for the Patriots to move Edelman to the Bucs for a 2nd. They can give back lower round picks as needed.

I think a 2nd is ambitious but a 3rd plus something would work.

just a thought, but just because OJ Howard wasn’t included in the trade doesn’t mean it won’t happen. The draft is two days away and it would make sense for both teams to see how things transpire during the draft.

Tampa will take OT with their first round pick, so that'll likely help in that area, as well.

Bill is the first to admit that he's a very difficult coach to play for. I don't blame those guys one bit, they don't owe us anything at this point they put blood, sweat and tears into this organization for a long period of time.. Gronk has sacrificed his body and has had some gruesome injuries that could impact his health long term for this franchise, and was a soldier every time he stepped out onto the field

Now they'll be able to go have some fun and compete for a playoff birth in a new city that has nice weather. It's something to certainly be excited about. I'm sure Belichick can wear on you over time, like water carving through a rock... These guys are human just like us, sometimes you dislike your boss and want a change of scenery

I think its sad that we now have to relive Gronk being gone, but I don't blame them and I'm not mad at either one of them.. I'll be rooting for both of them unless they're playing against the Pats
