OJ Howard On The Trading Block Per Report

Of course he wouldn't refute it. The rumors only give him more publicity which helps his post career.

I love Gronk but his game of I might return is old. He needs a hobby.

The only way it's not right to at least try to get Howard with his $2M cap (and $6M next year) is if we just aren't interested in winning this year.

Get him now. He immediately becomes the #1 TE

Brady must be like, here we go again, theyre always trying to get rid of my weapons

Maybe the reason why the NEP didn't land him last year is when BB told him they had a deal in place, Tom told him he wouldn't be able to trust him and killed the deal.

:p

give them a 4th rd pick and the rights to Gronk

Doesn't make sense as a standalone transaction

Yeah, that post NFL career that is going gangbusters.

Snippets on Fox Sports where Gronk is jacked and pumped Bro. Big Time wrestling. Whatever happened to the TV Show that Gronk was supposed to Host?

Edelman and Gronk's rights (plus a low pick) for OJ Howard

I believe the Bucs tried to trade Howard at last years' deadline and wanted a 3rd. No one would pony up. So there's that.

McDaniels is terrible at drafting RBs and WRs and TEs so I would totally give up our 3rd round pick for a known talent in OJ Howard, even though it would mean the Pats only have a 1st rounder then a 4th round pick and later picks.

I'm not quite sure what "an instinctive issue going on" means, but if this is all true then it seems that the Bucs think a lot less of Howard than people in this thread.

We have (3) 3rd rounders so we'd still have 2 left. Just because Josh can't draft doesn't mean we have to trade our picks for so-so players.

McDaniels wasn't that bad. He drafted Moreno, DT and Decker.

Great point. So it's a no-brainer to give up a 3rd rounder, if that's the asking price, for OJ Howard. We really really need a good starting TE. It helps with both the run game and helps relieve pressure for Stidham or whoever the QB is going to be.
