Edit: They sent the 2nd round pick they got for Hopkins. Rather than giving a all-pro a raise, they figured they spend the same money on an overpaid, overrated wideout that three teams have now traded.

I’d be so livid as a fan. It would be like your wife trading away your Lexus for a kia. Still an alright car. You’d expect your payment to at least go down for the inferior version, but its more.

Hopkins disappeared at times last regular season and was 0 TDs and 2 fumbles in the post season. Plus, Hopkins wanted more money.

Not saying hes finished in the NFL but the Texans were looking for a WR when they found Hopkins and this draft is loaded with WRs. Texans are still a 10 win team with or without Hopkins.
