Holy crap...I cannot believe how terrible some fans are.

Nitpicking the career of the most unassailable athlete ever.

So spoiled, ungrateful, and just overall ****ty people.

One of our sons has lived all over the world and he told me once that when he would tell foreigners he's from the northeast US he'd hear two words much of the time to describe us. Rude and Ignorant. These Brady posts are a great example.

You won’t have to worry about it anymore.

Or worry about competing for championships.

Glad you won’t have to deal with a very slight out of character ****iness once in a 20-year span of nearly perfect pressers from the greatest player ever. It must have been tough for you to deal with.

It really is amazing to see. At first I thought that maybe all the ****iness had to do with Brady's politics, but then I realized it's the same as Belichick's so it couldn't be that.

When you look at all of the times Brady went in front of a mic in 20 years, his record is as remarkable as his on-field record, maybe better. No Bird-like "Moses does eat ****" or Shaq-ish "Hey Kobe, how's my ass taste" comments. Just respect for everyone.

Some pretty embarrassing takes in this thread. Ridiculous nitpicking over the course of 20 years.

This thread has been here 20 years.? :D

Actually started on St. Patrick's day... Kinda ironic.

And now it's passover, talk about ironic... a no. 199 pick, on passover...

@luuked (and others), your hero just called you a moron. You going to be okay?

Everything is an adversarial **** measuring contest with you. It's just a forum.

The guys that defended him skipping OTAs took a lot of crap. Those same guys who crapped on Brady for skipping OTAs treat Chatham's word as gospel. Chatham just called them morons. If you can't see the ironic humor in that, you must be depressed. And no, not everything is an adversarial **** measuring contest with me. When you actually, you know, take stances on the forum and end up being right, it's fine to gloat a bit. Go get laid and calm down, virgin.

The Stern part of the the interview to me is about refusing to throw to receivers be doesn’t think they know what to do.
Harry,Meyers,Michel.
I saw the disdain in his face when they made a rookie mistake.
Brady not Being here will only give them more reps and more chance to develop.

Some interesting snippets...

Brady explained what he told Bill Belichick when a receiver wasn't able to do what he wanted him to: "I don't have any trust that this guy can help us win the game. If you put him out there, I'm not going to throw him the ball." Added: "He saw football in the same way I did. We saw the process of winning the same way."

Brady said no one really knows how Belichick truly feels about him. People are making "wrong assumptions."

A few years ago Brady changed the way he approched his marriage with Gisele Bundchen, as she “wasn’t satisfied." This was part of why Brady stopped attending OTAs and spent more time with his family. Bundchen wrote Brady a long letter where she spilled out her feelings and he still has it to this day.

And now it's passover, talk about ironic... a no. 199 pick, on passover...

Yes.. and I think he's hoping for a "resurrection" of his completion percentage... ;)

Funny I heard the rude thing plenty and said there is some truth to that. Whenever I heard the ignorant part, I told those clowns that ignorance birthed a country. So they can go stuff it.

Bingo. I will be mighty interested to see their development.

Didn’t he ask the team to franchise him after we wouldn’t commit to a 2 year deal?
Different reports on this. Who knows what is true?

Here’s everything Yates had to say on the matter:

As we approach free agency, some notes (in a thread) to revisit as Tom Brady’s decision on his next step draws closer. During last training camp, Brady and the Patriots discussed a new deal, including a multi-year extension. Brady’s preference was to not add any years to his deal and include a no-tag provision in his deal to ensure him the right to test the market if he desired. Early in camp, the Patriots gave Brady his request for total freedom after 2019. Brady now has that opportunity to be a free agent.

The only time my friends get too rude is when they get too drunk.

As Boston sports fans we've had the GOAT team in the NBA and NYFL, the GOAT baseball hitter, the GOAT pitcher, the GOAT basketball player and HC, the GOAT hockey player, the GOAT QB, the GOAT TE, the GOAT OLC and the GOAT HC to go along with living in the GOAT country. I can live with that.

Curran said that report was a joke and was pretty much Kraft trying to put Brady leaving all on Brady, said that deal was never offered. If you look back Curran has been dead on the whole Brady thing so he must have a source really close to Brady.
