So Baker bought the masks from China... Hope they're not defective like some of the masks and equipment they've been selling elsewhere....
This is what the bad orange man was talking about that sent the beta **** media into orbit; might be easier for states to buy directly bc too much red tape and regulations at the federal level... Not Drumpfs doing; the red tape is the result of an ever growing and overreaching federal government
A bunch of tech giants from China have donated masks, vents and money to help the US. I have heard that their government has also stepped up to help global efforts, similar to how the US jumped in when they sent supplies to China in the early stages of their battle.Did china donate these mask or are they charging a premium for protection again a virus they say doesn't even exist? Glad to see they're still making money.
What's going on here
HOF solidificationHourly cost of operating a Boeing 767-300? ~$9,000
Value of 1.4 million masks in saving lives during the fight against the coronavirus? Priceless
Value of publicity and good will to the Krafts and the Patriots organization? Pretty Darn High as well.
Or because it’s the right thing to do. Bob is a mensch.Hourly cost of operating a Boeing 767-300? ~$9,000

“I’ve never seen so much red tape in so many ways and obstacles that we had to overcome,” Patriots owner Robert Kraft told Beaton. “In today’s world, those of us who are fortunate to make a difference have a significant responsibility to do so with all the assets we have available to us.”
Of course, Jerruh deserved to go in first because he put that big screen over the field in his big ol' stadium, but still hasn't sniffed a Lombardi in over a quarter of a century.HOF solidification
Great publicity stunt for Kraft. I assume it would have been cheaper and easier to load you know, a cargo plane (I imagine many are available right now) but that wouldn’t have had the Pats logo on it.
Heh,
Alaska has nothing on Naval Air Station Brunswick, Maine. I did my last 2 tours there, flying on P-3 Orions. Here's a typical winter sight of the flight line.

We did a half-dozen lay-overs at Anchorage to/from the States and MCAS Iwakuni Japan, half of them in July and half in January...big difference...I digress. I only spent 3 weeks up in Anchorage in March for an exercise. Miserable, cold and the people looked depressed. At least with Brunswick you are couple hour drive from civilization.
