Brady gone

Did you read the article I linked to? Licht said, "It was almost like a recruitment on his part, telling us why it would make sense for him to come to Tampa Bay".

That is not anyone's "bizarre take". That's a literal statement that this was Brady's doing, not his.

Not that it matters at this point but it is truly a bizarre thing to say about your new star QB. And people wonder why Belichick keeps his mouth shut?
Honestly, I find it refreshing. The best part of Brady going to Tampa is finally we will get to hear some real information from time to time. That being said, I don't see anything negative in this being shared, in fact I think it puts Brady in a positive light as it shows how serious he took FA and his chance to go to another team. It seems that this impressed Licht which is why he shared it.

Well I watched games from last year late.. 2 out of his last 5 games.

Thing is , he didn't look that different. He still looked like Brady. The problem is you can't see inside his brain. He stopped making certain throws which makes you go.. he doesn't trust, blah blah, the receivers blow. mcD blows.

Or the game was speeding up on Tom and he was playing more afraid. Next year's games will show a lot. If his problems were just mental , then a new system can flip that. The possibilities for success in tampa are significant. IMO.

Very high odds that he does not play. There will not be any sports for a long time.
It is rather ironic that he willfully skipped OTAs the last 2 seasons and now that he wants to do them again they are cancelled. LOL.
The NFL will play this year, although it may be a very late start. If you think the players and NFLPA are willingly giving up a whole seasons paycheck when average career is only 3-3.5 years long, I think it is low likelihood. Unless the government orders them to stand down for the whole year.

The "unless" is fundamental

This entire COVID 19 almost made me forget he left. I would be thinking about it non stop if we were normal right now. Now? Oh well

And the government won’t, sooner or later this will pass enough for things to open. Worst case they start TC in September-October whole playing games with no fans no matter when football starts they be king of ratings and players/owners aren’t giving up a full years pay

I was shocked to see this put out there by the Bucs' GM. I'd bet Tommy was too. An insane thing for them to say publicly. Makes it seem like Tommy was desperate.

Confirms to me that Tom wanted out and him and Don Yee were the ones actually fishing for suitors hence all the leaks.
Brady never wanted to come back. Belichick and Kraft knew it months ago and never really begged him to stay because it was pointless.

Yeah people who think these guys will remain competitive without the GOAT are in for a very, Very rude awakening...

Relax they think Stidham is the next goat or we’ll find another franchise QB this draft, cause yes it’s that easy to find one

Yes my friend, I do know. Bill is an egomaniac, he ****ed the team that SB benching Butler.

I agree. This is the same BB who benched Welker at the start of a playoff game for making some foot jokes. And we lost the game and season ended. He has an ego the size of Jupiter. Who knows what Butler did to piss him off. Now he threw Brady out, probably for skipping OTAs or something. Brady had to reach the SB every year to survive BB at this age. He did 3 years in a row and the moment he didn’t, game over.

He’s the GOAT coach. He also has a huge, and sometimes detrimental, ego. And the Belichick knob swallowers will tell you that it’s Brady who has the big ego.

Belichick doesn't even need a top 10 ten pick to find a franchise quarterback. For Belichick, a 4th and 2020 late 3rd is plenty.

Is this sarcasm (I hope) ?

But Brady does have a big ego.

“We’re only going to score 17 points? LOL ok”
