Anyway to stop the Brady news threads?

I didn’t know where to put this but show of hands who is getting irritated to hear what breakfast Tom had or how he ties his shoes?
He’s not a Patriot anymore can we moderate anyway to get The Tom news articles off this site?

One of the mods should just setup a sticky Tom Brady mega thread where everyone that feels like talking about whatever is going has a dedicated place.

We certainly don't need multiple Brady threads that are unrelated to the Patriots.

At least Brady threads are on topic. What I think needs to be stopped is the threads which pop up every time some b-list actor or backup musician dies.

I'll have to see what I can come up with. The hard part is obviously the fact that currently, there are some articles that remain somewhat relevant but you're right, there are some that aren't. I'll see if I can come up with something to separate out the ones that aren't.

As for the threads, we'll play that by ear and potentially merge the ones that are just general news.

Sure but it could also be argued to make a Brady fans.com if those who enjoy threads about players no longer on the team and don’t want to be fans of those new teams.

Feel free to do that. But know that the Brady posts will continue here on patsfans.com

I get it, from both sides. He was here forever, gave us so much, so people are hanging on. I also get that he's not our QB and we are pats fans first. I don't think there's a right or wrong answer.

I do agree. The guy was here for 20-years and obviously we all know what he means to the fans and the organization. His departure has only just happened, so it will be a while before this sorts itself out.

This forum will be getting brady threads until the forum dies.

I get it I do not every person is the same so it’s not a easy answer.
I guess I’m more like BB once their not on the team moving on and next man up.
I get there are others who are attached and can’t let go completely.

Hopefully that won't happen for a while. I'm in decent health, dropped 45 pounds in the last year, eating better, etc. So God willing...hopefully at age 44 I've got a good run still left in me

If you're looking for a place to put this thread I have an idea.

It seems like a natural megathread candidate. Mods just gotta keep merging.

Soon, NYC doctors will be deciding who lives & who doesn’t. Count me in the group of (1) Brady talk is a good diversion (2) his moving on is insignificant compared to my opening sentence (3) your mother dying is much more depressing than a 43 year old stranger playing a sport in another city.

Thank you again to Tom Brady for providing us fans with so much entertainment, winning, and good times. Wish you well in Tampa.

Brady is a legend. There will always be Brady threads/posts even after he no longer plays football.

Or even the NFL forum which already exists. Good place for the inevitable Brady pom pom waving once the season starts and the Patriots lose some games.
