Speaking of Cuomo, should he be held him more accountable for the deaths in NY? His state has had more deaths than any other by far...why is that? Is it simply because of population density or could he have done more? The media is tongue bathing him...

stop with the hoax crap..and 3 months? Total ridiculous inaccurate post. The China ban was the single most important thing Trump could have done, and he was blasted for it. Biden called it racist. If Biden were our President, the outbreak would be far far worse as the number of infected people entereing this country early on would have been much much higher.

I think its fair to hold trump accountable for the entire situation. In fact we should extradite him to china and face charges there too.

As for “why so few deaths” compared to number of cases, you have to remember that on average it takes people 14-21 days to die from it if they are gonna die.

So the people dying now were infected 2-3 weeks ago — when the number of cases were a lot less.

Likewise, it’s going to take 2-3 weeks for the people who got infected now to die.

That’s why it’s pretty meaningless to just divide deaths by cases in this to get a death rate.

You instead need to divide deaths on a given day by the number of new cases that happened on the day two weeks before that day.
