Dorsett to Seahawks

Wonder if we could bring in someone like Demarcus Robinson to compete for a wr4 role.

Good guy, made some key contributions, some disappearing acts along the way. He got paid, congrats.

If I ever hear how fast he is again I’m gonna scream. He is the true difference between someone who can run without pads and someone who can.

I admit that I was one of his backers going into last season but he really disappointed. Good luck to Seahawks fans in their future quest to figure out why somebody with 4.3 speed cannot get separation on the go route.

Probably still gonna max out at 40 receptions, but the yards per reception might look better.

No great loss.
No great loss but his departure makes a lousy corps of receivers even worse. I fear
they may exit free agency without adding a significant wide receiver or tight end.
They may also fool us by not drafting a receiver or tight end. I keep looking for a
trade for someone on a rookie contract.

Watch Dorsett have a good season of 50 rec, 800 yards, and 5 TD's......Hollister-style....

His speed fits Wilson's downfield passing offense...

Honestly, no big loss, wish him good luck but he was a disappointment here.

Is it really even noticeable if he’s on the team or not anymore?

I wish him well.

That trade couldn’t have been more average. Brissett and dorsett, have 2 players in the same deal ever been more average? Neither are bad, but neither are good. Historically average trade

Loved his attitude through his stay. Unfortunately, his skillset never fully clicked with the way McDaniels and Brady wanted to run the offense.

Punxsutawney Phil is 4th fiddle at Seattle.

Lockett
DK Metcalf
Hollister
Chris Carson

Rashad Penny could emerge as a dual threat too.

Dorsett will have a great year with Wilson, a guy who can get him the ball deep and w a team who's offense doesn't call for throwing 4/5 deep balls into double and triple coverage

Wilson figured out a way to get a ton of production out of Hollister.. who knows, maybe Dorsett can have success in their style of offense when plays breakdown

With Brady gone, this is not a big loss at all.. only reason he would have made sense in camp is because of familiarity with Brady, but he was a #3 or 4 WR at best

Dorsett has a chance to excel as Wilson will throw deep balls.

Dorsett will probably catch 30 to 40 balls (All outside the numbers) but average 18 plus yards a catch.

good signing for them. Bad fit for us.

That's an illusion and false premise. How did Gordon do?

Say what?
One of these things is not like the other.
Gordon suspended for the nth time
Dorsett has never been suspended
He will benefit from a less structured route tree where Wilson scrambles & improvises. He can rely on speed vs savvy route running to break coverage as Wilson scrambles.

He may be fast on paper but it doesn’t translate well in game. We rarely ever see him get any separation on this deep balls. We’ve tried and it usually ends in an incompletion.
