Sure. You Trump apologists have your head in the sand and blood on your hands and are detached from reality.

way to be divisive. This does nothing to further discussion

*its **** like this why we couldn’t have a pofo spot on this this site anymore

The YouTube channel/company run by Cenk uygur. Named after a genocidal group. I believe He also denied the Armenian genocide for years I believe and I’m not sure he’s even acknowledged it yet. Recently ran for Congress and got destroyed. And he does not understand basic probability theory either

Yeahhhhh don't tell turkey that :D But point taken regarding the first use of TYT. So it's a website and TV show. Okay, so where you guys are saying he's a "member" of TYT, we're actually saying he's a commentator on/regular on/etc. TYT - TYT didn't morph into a party or something. Like Steve Doucey is a regular on Fox and Friends, not a "member" of Fox and Friends.

I am hopeful that Trump wil streamline the process of getting the Quinine solution ramped up and into the front lines with minimal delay. Bayer is donating 6 million tablets that's a start. Since these drugs are not proprietary perhaps other sources can be brought to bear quickly to help those at high risk. h grandson has been out for over a week. I am angry about the fear porn being pushed on kids. my wife caught him in tears the other day, he was worried that he could die from the virus. We had to explain who was at risk and who was not at risk. I wish the media were more responsible.

So this part of your post I'll just leave alone. I assume you think that quinine now is proven effective against coronavirus? Ok. I am too tired to have that conversation for the 100th time, I never saw it shown effective, but I'm sure someone's cousin got better or something using quinine for COVID-19. Eh, will look into the continuing song and dance of "stuff that cures malaria MUST work on coronavirus!" one more time. But it certainly sounds like people have begun to look at these drugs as interesting possible therapeutics (i.e., they make you somewhat more comfortable), not that they're proven cures.

As to the virus, I go to work as I always have. I take reasonable precautions but not willing to live my life in fear. I hope you and MRS and family stay safe.

Thank you for your best wishes to us. We're hoping we can do the damn near impossible and through a lot of small actions added up over time, influence our chance of being in the half or so of the population who don't catch this. Good luck in your routine, and I hope your reasonable precautions work for you. We don't live in fear, by the way. We live in risk assessment and mitigation.

I'm a leadership coach and organizational consultant by trade. I'm making observations about current leadership, because I believe the key to this, and future similar situations, is collective learning. I'm scared and frustrated that we collectively seem intent on not learning a damn thing.

You know what would be great? A series of DJT "Leadership Posters" with his actual quotes from this particular episode. "Does the Buck Stop Here?" "Normally, Yes..."

not even sure who the guy is TBH. I just saw A tyt reference and had to comment

QM makes one politically charged post and people start screaming about civility, while other folks simultaneously take shots across the red/blue aisle and get approached with facts and data, not a plea for sensitivity.

The irony is rich.

It's funnier to me given that QM is the farthest thing from an "ORANGE MAN BAD" type as I can imagine other than a Trump cultist.

And if there’s one thing Trumpers can’t stand, it’s divisiveness!

Q. Why did the chicken cross the road?
A. That's a very dishonest question. You're a terrible reporter.

I appreciate your link. I tried to go in open minded, and there’s nothing I’d like more than to see hope that things aren’t that bad at all. The author of this article is not compelling at all. It was obvious after reading the first two paragraphs that this was borderline dishonest in the way it twists facts and isn’t logical. The other article that I linked was much more persuasive, even if the outcome isn’t desired.

That this dude with no apparent relevant qualifications could write, essentially, a blog post and have it shared far and wide across the right-wing echo chamber (including by so called “straight news” anchors on Fox News) is just a *chef’s kiss* moment for where this country is in 2020.

What an epic douche. Should have known he had an agenda.

QM is all about the data.

Things I can infer about QM:

1. He's probably still pissed that he couldn't eat something called Numerical Soup as a kid.

2. He probably has had two conversations this week that involved the words "probability and theoretically".

3. He's probably felt guilty for giving me a red X but will never admit it although he and I both know it's true.

4. He probably watched Rainman and thought "You idiot there's 247 toothpicks on the floor"

5. I think he has regretted all the red X's he has ever given me. Which I find comforting.

Anyway, obviously a straight shooter who regrets red Xing my posts.

I think the word sanctimonious has more syllables than he has brain cells to rub together.

Why do you feel the need to insult those who disagree with you? It's not a great way to change minds.
