Not me man. I’d rather Bill & the staff coach all these young guys up and let them develop and see what we’ve got. Tanking is weak and doesn’t allow anyone the chance to truly get better, become leaders or instill confidence. See what you’ve got in the young guys this year. If they suck, whelp, you got a ton more cap space next year and can purge the guys you don’t want to add more draft capital. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to have high draft picks. We’d get to spend months getting excited and debating over who we should grab just to watch Bill trade down a handful of times and get who he really wants.

I'd agree with you if I believed we had "all these young guys" that you referenced. How many young guys do we have that have proven anything? Harry couldn't beat man in college. How can anybody expect him to do so in the NFL? We have little to no young talent on the roster.

Holy hell. Say what you want about Harry, lets see year 2. Wino. Wynn. Andrews is 27. Entire O-line is currently 27 and or under save for Cannon. J.C Jackson. Bentley. Cardona. Bailey.

There is plenty of good young talent on this roster. Others may show out more in the next season.

At the end of the day, this all started in a Miami jack-shack.

It's not possible for a single post to be more inane, asinine, and just generally devoid of thought than this one. You may have missed this, but that same awful Brady of 2018 won the SB that year.

Man, getting the Brady ball-washers fully triggered is too easy. I knew that a few screenshots of him bailing unnecessary early on a critical play would do it.

Quick question: Do tear stains on a pillowcase need to be pre-treated first or do they just come out with the regular wash?

Don’t buy what Kraft was selling. It wasn’t guaranteed money or a guaranteed 2nd year. They’ve been offering him year to year with lots of hard to hit incentives.

It's not Kraft selling it. And let's be honest. The Pats would never WILLINGLY cut Brady. So, even if it wasn't guaranteed, He'd still have gotten it.

When the **** are you going to come to grips Tom no longer wanted to be here. He had enough of NE. Like Early Bird said it wasn't about the money.

If you want to say BB chased him out of town because of wanting to go year to year or being worn down by the "system", fine. That same "system" won 6 Super Bowls. Can't have it both ways so you can't cry too much.

Tom was done. BB was done. It's that simple.

It's basically a divorce. No need to blame anyone.

Not gonna get into the entire offense but with regards to TE, BB failed last off-season. Should’ve set a hard deadline for Gronks decision and got in on Jared Cook before the saints did.
I would not say BB failed. With a talent like Gronk, you give him some leeway. Unfortunately, Cook decided to sign right away and not wait (and Cook isn't a game changer anyway).

Harry has an unfortunate first season. I’ll agree with that. The point of having young guys show something is because they haven’t shown it. Guys like Bentley, Winovich, Meyers, Harry, Frojoldt, Cajuste, Williams, do we have anything in Obi? Let Harris see the field a little bit, get Gunner back out there and see if he can grow from what he started last year, what’s Cowart evolved into and can he make some plays on Sundays along the DL? This isn’t including 2020 draft picks that will be brought into the fold.

I never thought I would see the day he became a me first diva.
This this this.
I am finding it difficult to reconcile the Brady I thought I knew from the Brady since his ball throwing days on the yacht during OTCs.
He is a terrific football player, probably the best QB you want in a pressure situation and that is all I should have seen him as, but I view him with some hesitation because of his relationship with Alex and I may be alone in being a tad happy that he is gone with all that snake oil stuff.

He is so blessed but he is looking for something that now boarders on hubris and hubris leads to the fall. Why does he have this need for so much money to sell a cook book for $200? Something is not quiet all right there in my opinion. I am not saying people should not have ambition of making more money, but he complains about not being appreciated(monetary), well it goes both ways. The Patriots constructed teams that were perennial competitors and he could also have showed his appreciation by not crafting that contract last year but he probably believes that Patriots success it was all mostly because of him. I disagree, for the seasons where the offense was lighting teams up, we ended up with hose.
I want to see him in a different team and see how he will handle some of the things BB puts on his shoulders here to shield his players..
Team BB all the way.

Wino and Wynn have proven nothing. Andrews has an ailment that may or may not be a regular issue. I have repeatedly said our O Line is avg...it is. I love Jackson. Bentley would have been a quality player in the NFL of 1995, not today. If you're mentioning our long snapper and punter, you're reaching and we have serious problems.

There is little to no young talent on this roster.

You do realize that not a single guy you mentioned has proven anything. Except for Harry, who proved he has the same problem in the NFL he had in college, only worse. The guy isn't quick enough to beat man coverage. He's flat out slow. That isn't going to change.

Who even gives a **** if he falls off suddenly. It's Tom ****ing Brady. Your entire franchise. You let him finish his career in the same jersey.

Now we gotta watch him playing for the Bucs. Like what the hell. I hope there is a season and he has a monster year.

Like I said early we have ungrateful fans and most of the nation were right about us. To accept how Brady was treated and say dumb **** like that to a guy that made this dynasty is absurd. I don’t wanna hear that BB bull **** if he had an average QB or even Rodgers who wouldn’t take discounts we go nowhere near 3 Super Bowls

Brady gotta go deep into the playoffs to cash in the bonuses in his contract.

Both parties were ready to move on.. and those who are besmirching Brady's good name are pretty disgusting.. the guy poured his blood, sweat and tears into this organization for 20 years bringing us unprecedented levels of success in the form of SB Championships and records.

Kraft should have a statue of Brady erected somewhere in the stadium

If is fair to point out Brady played much of last year with an elbow ailment. And it's very likely that, especially at his age, the issue is going to repeat itself. Most likely it's only going to get worse...TB12 or not.

$25m fully guaranteed plus $9m incentives. Unknown how likely the incentives are to hit, but the Patriots wouldn't have fully guaranteed two years. What if Brady goes Manning and falls off a cliff?

We would all have been super happy with a 2yr $50m contract with some incentives thrown in for top 5 passing. This is exactly the contract we had all been hoping for. BB and Kraft blew it big time. BB put his ego first and Kraft folded like a wet rag.

Why did BB want to move on. All Brady has done is deliver over and over again. Give me a frickin break.

There was a 2 week period from when FA started and Gronk announcing his retirement. We should’ve gotten the indication of what he was going to go by the time FA began. That would’ve given Gronk around 5 weeks to decide which IMO is plenty. Cook ended up signing a few days after Gronk retired (by that time he was pretty much in verbal agreement with NO and it was too late to change his mind.)

Now is Cook a Gronk like game changer? No, but he is an improvement over what we ended up throwing out there last year. And best case you sign cook, Gronk decides to play 1 more year and you have one of the better TE duos in the league instead of the worst duo.
