Brady gone

I mean he brought up 2 rings as a coordinator like that matters, how many Coordinators sucked as coaches but would still be coaches if they lucked into a GOAT QB.

Wade Philips two best SBs as defensive coordinator (50 with Denver, 53 with LA Rams) were more impressive than Belichick’s two NYG wins with Parcells. But you’d never hear how no one but Wade could possibly be such a genius to come up with that type of gameplan.

Me and about 30 friends got together last night for a social get together I set up at my place to reminisce about Brady's career and to watch several of his best games. The 30 of us watched in a crowded room which provided a very cozy atmosphere. Lots of hugs and high fives as we remembered TB12.

A little bit off topic, but the weird thing was that at the beginning I was the only one with a random cough. However, by the end of the large gathering, about 20 others left with a cough and fever. Weird.

Anyways, it was a great night.

You must be a pretty popular person.

Cheaper than I thought by a bit. All GTD though for a 43 year
Old. Yowsa.

If the Pats didn't offer this contract than shame on them. If Brady just wanted to go somewhere else then he earned that right. This just sucks that TB12 is going to be in Tampa for the next 2 years.

That’s debatable whether wades 53 defense outperformed Bills 90. That buffalo passing attack was pretty prolific. Both great DCs though.

Well believe it or not I’m not trying to completely crap on Belichick. I think Belichick is the greatest coach ever. I’m just hitting on the point that virtually no other coach in modern football gets so much as a pat on the back, as it would appear from the press that there is only one good coach in the NFL. There is just a lot of superlative that isn’t justified.

I’m embarrassed for you. He won us 6 Super Bowls.

Great, is he done playing yet? I had the same attitude with Pedro when ditched the Sox (which he says he wishes he hadn’t) for the Mets. Best damn pitcher I have ever seen. Top 3 all time in my book. Last year I got an autographed baseball of his. When he left I felt the same way.

Same thing with Brady.

I seriously don’t know how anyone could defend Belichick and Kraft on this one.

They let the greatest player in league history just leave.

The team was a home win against Miami away from getting the #2 seed and the offense was carried by Brady’s play, even though he was given terrible weapons. This was still a contender.

After years of Brady taking team friendly deals, they played games and stiffed him when he wanted one last solid pay day for two years; this the same two years you could’ve been developing a successor at QB, considering there’s none at all.

This was such a big middle finger to the fans.

I agree, but this was years in the making Brady was going to leave. They were deteriorating on offense and BB ignored it.

I’d rather see Brady have success elsewhere than rot in NE.

Bill threw a lot of money at the offense last year when he brought on AB...and presumably was willing to put up with the headache. As much as it’s been beaten to death, I truly believe the AB release was the straw that broke the camel’s back. They could have let the league be the bad guy and suspend AB. Instead, they accelerated the cap hit and couldn’t afford Sanders or anyone else because how badly Kraft messed that up. I’ve gone through 100 reasons why releasing him was the wrong move, even if he there was no way he could play. And yes, alienating Brady is a real thing.

Brady and AB have publicly been groping each other now for the last six months. There’s no goddamn way Brady isn’t furious about the way it was handled. He said to a reporter he was angry because he thought he could get through to AB. Finally, the guy is given a great receiver for the first time since 2007, gets super excited about it. Kraft then goes boasting to the networks that he proposed the idea to Brady and takes a victory lap. Then he releases him, and suddenly Brady wants control over personnel decisions and we know why. Meanwhile Kraft is an unconscionable prick...what a gloryhound asswipe.

Why support a player when they no longer play on the team? I don’t wish him ill health. He is gone, no longer plays for the team. He never came back to get an offer. If you can’t deal with that then fine.

The guy has been gone 2 days. Show some decency ..seriously.

Blaming Brady is a mistake but c’mon, Brady signed those contracts. He could have walked away years ago if he felt they were an insult.

Relationships don't have black and white, storybook boundaries. His dislike of Belichick's choices has to be balanced against his legacy, his love for his teammates, his desire to keep winning titles, etc.

If we were more successful last year I think he's still here. If he felt like he had more tools on offense I think he's still here.

Pedro had lost his stuff when he left for NY. If he’d still had it, I’d have watched every Mets game possible. Once in a lifetime pitcher.

Brady has led the offense to a top production ranking, along with low turnovers, year after year with comparatively little money invested in the skill positions. Seeing him finally have some balls out WRs and TEs in Tampa would be fascinating and must-see TV. I really hope he’s still effective because it will be fun and interesting to watch.

Agree to disagree

11-5 with Cassel.

3-1 with a raw JG and Jacoby Brissett.

Not to mention 2 rings won as a DC. Bill has a track record without Brady. Not the case vice versa.

Wth are you saying. What does 11-5 with Cassel and not making the playoffs get you? A cookie? What does a couple wins with JG mean? Anything? Wth are you talking about.

I have seen Brady step up at critical moments and play mistake free football in 4th Q over and over again to get the team over the line. That was Brady not BB. Now BB is about to fckin realize how special Brady was. 1 yr deal for $23m bull$hit. Fck off with that crap.

You’re going to go on another AB type of rampage about this, aren’t you?

Kraft - the scummy rich guy who commissions a painting
Belichick - the procurer of paint, paper, and brushes
Brady - Michelangelo
