What Happens to the Fan Base??

“Fans” will leave when the Pats become like every other team in the NFL with not much guaranteed.

I had season tickets when they went 0-16...I won't be a fan of that again. Bill would never let that happen anyway. All bets are off when he is no longer coach.

Don’t think this franchise has ever gone 0-16. 1-15 was the worst I believe.

I was on AOL and KFFL

Ah my Dad said AOL was the way to go back then. Start up internet making that weird sound. My cousin is ten years older than me. Said she used ICQ as an early teen. Times have changed.

LOL...it was so bad it felt like it. I'm not going to fix my mistake...see how many actually know this.

It's been nearly two decades since the Pats had a losing season. Realistically, do they have enough goodwill to sellout the stadium regardless of performance for the next few years? Or, will the Waiting List and attendance shrink dramatically?

Boston isn't Atlanta or Miami. I'd like to think we are more diehard. What you say?

Games were sold out before Brady came, certainly every game since Kraft bought the team. I don;t see that changing.

My one hope is Patfanken will still show up and occasionally write up recaps of the games win or lose. I have been with the Patriots since their birth I guess I will be with them till I am gone because I expect I will go before they do.:(

The ride up the power rankings is one of the best things ever for fans to watch...I'm looking forward to Bill pulling it off.

Made it to my first ever Pats game this year. It also happened to be Brady's last Pats game. Only made it because it was so cheap. If prices can come down a bit I'd love to start going more.

The simple fact is that ticket demand is going to come down. However, if we're being fair, we would have to admit that the fair market value of Patriots tickets has been far higher (on average) than face value. So it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Pats & Cowboys are the two most expensive games you can attend I believe. Conversely Bucs are raising prices.

well this Pats fan is going no where. I watched them before Brady and will watch them and root for them now. Actually I am looking forward to seeing some Bill magic in the next upcoming season and beyond. Though I am sure that our odds of making the SB have gone way down. Will be fantastic to see them beat those odds but even if they don't I will cheer them on, pull my hair out and do all the normal things I have done all these years.

I was on KFFL arguing with Bob Jensen about Parcells v Carroll...doze were da days
Yeah I remember Tollbooth Bob. Every single thing the Jets did was nothing short of the most brilliant move any team ever made ever.

Given how "family oriented" the live experience has become, you'd best hope the team stays competitive. If not, the only fun will be the tailgating, because crappy teams aren't fun to just sit and watch.

This site will lose many of the fanboys whose panties get in a bunch over negative comments in the GDT....we can only hope

I use to post on KFFL also but their general foot ball forum was nasty especially to us Patriot fans !

I will be traveling to Tampa to watch the one true Patriot who was cast out by the evil hooded spellcaster. I will be witness to his quest to learn the ways of the the Pirate and prove his true worth by ascending to his former glory. Then pray at the end of this two year journey the fat Patriot king will leave his brothel long enough to take advantage of the period of free agency to welcome back the prodigal son.

I love these threads: My fan is bigger than yours

Well I'm leaving, that's for sure

The Pats had 7 sellout seasons before Brady came along. They'll be fine

Different time back then. No NetFlix. Or ability to watch games on tablets. Not saying the fan base won't support a loser. Just something I wanted to point out.
