Man I hope we get a regular-regular season. I hope it happens. Would be amazing to watch. They get another guy like Sanders and that offense will be impossible to stop. Hope it happens. That's what you do when you have a QB like Tom at the end of his career. I'd be calling Chicago about Robinson. Minnesota about Cook. NE about Jules. Go get Robby Anderson while you're at it. This team could be fun.

So he kept on signing contracts with Pats since 2017, why ?

If this would have any truth to it he could have moved on at any point easily by asking for it, refusing to sign any of the contracts the Pats offered or just walked from camp (like Curran dramatically suggested).

All of this **** smells so desperately like all three different camps throwing feces at each other just for optics.

If the Patriots had any weapons at all, he would have stayed.

This is a totally different topic and irrelevant to the article posted here that said Brady decided to leave the Pats after BB allegedly offered him to the 49ers. Which is a total 180 spin on the story we have been hearing from various sources (Lynch, Shanahan, BB) for the last almost 3 years.

If you want to have a discussion about weapons and whatnot go and quote someone else.

Who would you have cut to get the cap room to get Brady "weapons?" You need to create about $50 million in cap space.

I disagree with your statement. Even the best quarterback of all time was ineffective
with lousy receivers and tight ends.

He is in decline and the position has changed a bit. Sorry but it's true. That's a big reason why he's gone.

You are 100% correct. So far, they have not added any. Tampa Bay is having discussions
with Emmanuel Sanders.

Eh. I would replace "mid rounder" in your post with "late rounder", and "pick 45" with "mid rounder". Edelman really doesn't carry as much trade value as we want him to.

How badly do they want him?

Let's face it. During the last Super Bowl, the Patriots had Edelman out there and a hobbled Gronk. The outside receivers were doing nothing for us. Edelman was the MVP and without him, the Patriots don't win the SB.

The Patriots, on the other hand, will not clear out much cap space by trading him. For the Patriots, the only reason they would trade him would be to get back something of good value, because there's barely a cap benefit to it. This means that if the Bucs are motivated, and they should be given his experience with Brady, they should give up a 3rd for him.

The good news is that means we keep JE11. At least maybe Bill will have the dignity to let him retire a Patriot.

It is perfectly relevant as the trade rumors wouldn't matter if he had something to work with.

There is absolutely nobody on this team I would be afraid to cut outside of Gilmore, and I would trade him asap.

Again, the article says Brady decided to leave the Pats after BB allegedly offered him to the 49ers. 3 years ago. None of that topic has to do with any dissatisfaction about the roster.

Either read, understand and respond to that or just move on.

No skill player worth a damn is going to play for a team with a big question mark at QB. And Ebron has said he didn’t want to play with them before.
The allure of “take a smaller one year deal and win a ring in New England” is gone.

The is a new PFT story on AB's desire to play with Brady or any team that will have him.

I just checked 3 Bucs message boards and couldn't find any mention if they would welcome AB or not.

Only after this last contract was the possibility of the pats placing the franchise tag on him removed.
