Brady gone

So damn weird. I felt awful, sad that we weren’t able to keep him, it’ll be painful to see him on a different team, but I have nothing but love, appreciation & respect for the guy. I guess many Boston fans are just entitled brats that somehow imagine Tom owes them or the city more than he’s given. Ludicrous.

20 glorious years is more than we could ever ask for. It lasted much longer than I thought it would.

It was going to end eventually.

...or Gisele.

Hard to imagine Gisele forcing him to Tampa Bay...Bill made a business decision regarding his 43 year old QB. If he kept Brady on for another 2 years, Stidhams development would be impeded. He probably regrets trading Jimmy G and doesn't want a repeat. I really do think the Pats are high on Stidham.

...or Gisele.
Giseles been with Tom since end of 06’... I think the whole “it’s Gisele” thing could’ve been put to rest at least 6 years ago.

No question Tom has had enough of "the system".

The system is Bill.
This brings an interesting scenario, albeit completely hypothetical: Let's say it's guaranteed that only one of these two will win a SB within the next two years, which guy do you think it'll be?

I don't think she forced him to TB.

Let me explain.

I don't think it was a Yoko Ono thing but let's face it, Tom evolved as a person (we all do) with Gisele and realized he wanted something different out of his professional life. Whether she gave him that loving nudge to try something new and find happiness....who knows but I would not be surprised.

I don't think its thats clean.

Brady is the GOAT without question and i appreciate all he has done for our franchise. But he is dead to me now. I dont like the way this whole thing went down and while we will never know what the Pats offers was, i find it very aggravating that he would leave for $5M more (reports have the Pats offer at $25M). Im also pissed at Kraft for not stepping in and just paying him what he wanted. If that means we dont have money for any other players, so be it. i think it would have been important for Brady to retire a Patriot. Kraft is ****ing weak. I have a feeling they all lose on this one (Kraft, BB, and Brady) and look pretty stupid. The Bucs have a nice offense but Brady is about to find out the grass is not always greener. Just disgusted over the whole thing

Please explain how the Pats could have afforded to keep TB and JG in 2018. Show your work.

Money is on the NEP.

Kraft/BB/Caserio >>>>>>>> Glazer kids/Ariens/Litch

Yes, but The System has worked in the few games Brady hasn't played since he became the starter. Obviously we'll see if The System works long term without Brady, but it can't be denied that Brady has been aging and isn't what he once was. I don't blame Brady for wanting one last big payday, I don't blame BB for wanting to move on, and I don't blame Kraft for not interfering with Belichick to keep Brady here.

We're all processing this differently. If it makes you (not YOU, everyone) feel better to blame Brady/BB/Kraft for this and call them names, go ahead. This is definitely the place to do it, and much better than crapping on Brady on his social media.

Me, I'm living in the reality that Tom Brady isn't our QB anymore. I love the guy, but he chose not to be here, and I'm not switching fandom. So I could be bitter and blame Brady, or blame BB/Kraft and actively cheer against the team I am a fan of. I don't want to do either. In BB I trust, and it should be interesting to see what happens come September. If Brady makes it to the Super Bowl and it's not against us, I'll cheer for him. But I am, first and foremost, a Patriots fan.

They couldn't...the point I was making was that Bill wanted to keep Garroppolo over Brady.

System = The Program.

In 2 years, I would say Tampa for sure...they can load up on some more players. I want Tom to succeed down there. NE will take a more methodical approach to winning a SB. It starts with Stidham being developed into a good QB and then slowly adding pieces around him. It will be a 3-5 year plan with Stidham I think. Tampa has put all their cards on the table with Brady in the next 2 years.

Jesus........the sour grapes and salt you've been displaying lately is rather embarrassing. You sound like a scorned ex girlfriend.

Why do you care? I feel the way I feel. Once a player leaves he’s gone to me. Can’t help my team anymore so what’s the problem?
